Weber Genesis E-335 Natural Gas Grill w/ Sear Zone & Side Burner - Black - 1500536

This grill cooks great but I am disappointed in several things. For a grill this expensive to not have a scale that shows how much propane is left is ridiculous. And the hook you have to hang the propane tank on in the cabinet is extremely awkward and difficult to use if you are not Hercules. I prefer the tank to be easily accessible on the outside of the cabinet. The shelf next to the propane tank in the cabinet has been replaced with a support bracket which renders the space useless. Shame on you Weber for these cost cutting moves that take features away from your pervious model. Also, if you have a side burner, the match lighting tool does not fit up under the grill so the chain hangs down and interferes with opening and closing the side door. What a nuisance! I ended up removing it from the grill. At least it seems to meet Weber standards for the way it cooks.

Overall the grill is OK. It feels a lot more cheap than my previous Weber Genesis e-330 pre 2016 model. My wife and I thought this was a downgrade because of the cheap new look and feel. It's just not solid. Thinner metals, plastic screws etc. When you knock on it you hear and feel tinny bangy sounds instead of a solid knock. They removed the shelf inside too. It's even more expensive than the previous one I had.

The main grill works just fine. The reason for my low score is two fold. 1) The side burner is not able to be controlled down to a simmer. I have had a few Webers in the past and they all have very poor side burner control. I was hoping this new model would be different, unfortunately, it is not! 2) The stainless housing has begun to tarnish right from the very first day of rain. It's not rusting, just lots of water marks.

Three burner gas grill is a perfect size for what we needed. Large enough for family gatherings, small enough for the porch. The sear station is one of the most used features. Also hooked it to our in-ground house propane tank. This is just now our third Weber Genesis grill in the last 30+ years. Previous grill is still working perfectly after 17 years and was donated to our son. Of course we have rebuilt some of the internals (e.g., flavor bars, burners, grates) in the previous two grills, but it's dead simple to do. Warranty has been very good for providing replacement parts. Looking forward to using this one for the next 15+ years.

I am really enjoying to grill on the Griddle. Looking up new receipies and am surprised how quickly it all works. It is now more Fun to cook outside!

My first Weber gas grill and I love it. The stainless steel one is worth the money.

We've owned a Weber Spirit for years and I wanted a bigger one. I love being able to do indirect heat. Rotisserie chicken is marvelous. I love how it maintains the perfect temperature. I can roast my veggies at the same time. Very happy with my new grill.

We just love this grill the simple sear zone works great for steaks and the spot between burner 1 and the others is great for grilling veggies and corn. I picked up a Weber grilling basket and had perfect asparagus & zucchini without losing any thru the grill. I found it rather easy to assemble too. There is you tube video that helps with the anxiety assembly. Electric ignition worked great as well. Meals taste great and we couldn't be happier!!

Works well as expected for the high price. Good investment.
