No different than any of my other Webers. Always does the job correctly regardless of whether I'm cooking with mesquite, pecan, or any other wood. I have a ranch kettle, 3 22" kettles, a Genesis, a jumbo joe, and now a 26. Been cooking on Weber grills for over 30 years. They're a bit pricey but to me they are worth it.

My original 20 plus year old kettle grill was finally put to rest. I purchased a new 22" Master Touch Kettle Grill as a replacement. After having a number of cooks on this new grill, I am happy with the purchase. That being said, I am not happy with the grill grate that comes with the grill. The removable center circle grate does not stay in place. It moves when cleaning the grate. If you are not holding the center when removing the whole grate, the center will fall out of place. I personally it should come with a standard grate and the gourmet grate. This would make the kettle grill even more versatile. Weber is a GREAT COMPANY and has a GREAT PRODUCT. That is why a purchased another kettle grill. They last ! I will be exploring getting another regular 22" grill grate at some point.

One of the V-clips that hold the legs in place totally malfunctioned. it wasn't strong enough to hold its place while I was putting it together. And I never got it to stay in place, after MANY TRIES. So I will see how it holds up.

Outstanding grill. Huge grilling surface. Grill grate has multiple openings and removable parts for superb direct and or indirect grilling / smoking. Easy assembly. Highly recommend this grill.

This kettle is twice as thick as the 22. The cooking area seems twice as big yet, you need no more charcoal per cook. With the adjustable charcoal fences and the removable grate centers it is perfect for indirect and vortex. I still use little brother 22 for small cooks but this is my go-to when its party time.

Grew up with Weber barbecues as a child. My dad had one. Now he has the whole line up for the 22- to ranch kettle. I got my first Weber that was a 22in I found in an out building on my property quickly out ran out of cook space. Got the 26in as my family has grown we don't run out of room for cooking. I can grill, smoke, bake pizzas. It's truly the best one! Only con is I would like to see a rotisserie attachment for it.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
