Putting it together was pretty easy and setup was OK. Cooking with it though is great, great smoke, easy control from panel and phone. Cleaning is a breeze and it just looks great. Had a few cooks now and really enjoying it, would highly recommend.

I bought the smoker sometimes I use it to grill but to come up to 350 400° I can't even see her steak if I wanted to because it takes an hour and a half for it to even get that high I've done everything they said to do 165° to 30 minutes. I'm still sitting here waiting 45 minutes later and this mess now at 296° save your money. Do not buy one of these pieces of crap.

Having lil issues with more of a temp swing than were used to vs old 885. On 3rd bag of pellets hope levels out a bit.
Amazing grill! Been using Traeger grills for years now and can't see myself ever using something different. The touch screen and controls are intuitive and easy to use. The build quality is superb, rock solid construction that will hold up for years if properly maintained. If you're shopping for a new grill, look no further. The Traeger Ironwood is the way to go!
I bought this grill due to people raving about it. It's a good grill. Problem I encountered was the power cord doesn't fit in the back snug enough that when I roll it I lose power. Caller customer service and told me I had to swap out the power strip in the back. THEY HAD ME DO IT. I'm handy and did it. Same issue. Called back and they wanted me to FaceTime to show them the same issue. For that price point this is ridiculous. Problem not solved. Good luck.
My screen failed after the third use. After two and three hours of tech assistance they sent out a new hopper assembly. I like to cook, not work on grills.

So far so good. My first smoke was a poor man's brisket( chuck roast) and it turned out so good. Used one of the recipes on the app. Seared it on my griddle attachment then turned it down to 225 til the meat was 200 degrees. Made jalapeno poppers 2nd time and cooked perfectly. Still got some temp learning to do but so far so good!
Here's a glowing review for a Traeger Grill, incorporating the voice of an enthusiast like Chad Hyland, who knows his way around a smoker and isn't afraid to share his love for quality grilling. Traeger Grill: The Ultimate Game-Changer in Backyard BBQ If you're still grilling on anything other than a Traeger, you're missing out on a whole new level of flavor, consistency, and ease. First off, set it and forget it. Seriously, this thing is so easy to use, it feels like cheating. The WiFIRE technology lets you control temperature straight from your phone, meaning you can adjust heat while watching the game or cracking a cold one. No more babysitting the fire. And the flavor? Unreal. The pure hardwood pellets infuse every bite with deep, smoky goodness—whether you're doing brisket, ribs, or even pizza. Plus, the precision temperature control means you get perfect results every time—no more dry chicken or overcooked steaks. Durability? Built like a tank. This grill isn't just a backyard accessory—it's an investment in legendary BBQ. Whether you're smoking low and slow or cranking up the heat for a sear, the Traeger delivers every time. Bottom line: If you love grilling but hate the guesswork, get a Traeger. It's like having a pitmaster built into the grill. Once you go Traeger, there's no going back. 🔥 Five stars. Highly recommend. 🔥
This is a great pellet grill smoker that I have gotten and have purchased.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
