Just received the coveted Grizzler. I was surprised to see the wooden platter of the past has been replaced by a metal trivet. In Ooni's defense, when I went back to the web site they made it clear in the photo and the "What's in the box" section that it came with the metal trivet and not the wooden board of yore. In my haste to jump on the terrific sale price I didn't notice. I also noticed one reviewer complained that his board was twisted, split, and burned by the intense heat, so perhaps this was the cause for the change. If you are looking for the classic wooden board as I was it seems like they are still out there on websites and stores that may have older stock. Make sure to double check before you order. It's still a beautiful thing, just missing a bit of the charm I was looking for.

This product is great for cooking numerous items items. Fits for all types of Ooni ovens. As always, it's made by Ooni and is extremely well made!

The grill plate I purchased is not level(flat) And rocks from corner to corner. This is disconcerting when attempting to place or move the grill in the oven and also allows the fat and juices from the meat to pool on one side of the plate creating what patches and burns on both the plate and the meat. Do not recommend!

After breaking 2 Ooni pizza stones (they break very easily), I decided to try the cast iron plate for making pizza. I agree with all the cons listed in reviews. It is very heavy, I can not lift it using the handles. It rusts even after seasoning according to instructions. Also, I find it a bit tricky to get my pizza peel under the crust due to the edges on this plate. But my biggest disappointment with this plate is that it burns the bottom of my pizza. It gets super hot.

Perfect dual sided cast iron pan. Perfect for roasting vegetables and cooking steak fajitas. A must if you own an Ooni oven.

I received the pan in good packaging and in perfect condition. I followed the seasoning instructions and my pan is ready to go. I haven't used it yet, but it appears to be of very high quality.

The plate is good. It has a nice non stick coating and is easy to clear. It should have Ben designed with slots for the handles on opposite sides. That would make it easier to turn around so that the food cooks more evenly. As it is designed it is necessary to move the food because there is no way to turn the cast iron plate. Otherwise nice.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
