Masterbuilt Pizza Oven Insert for Gravity Series 800 & 1050 Models - MB20181722

My husband was excited to get this grill after it being recommended to us by a friend, but we've had problems with the fan going out, as well as the seal around the hopper completely melting.

The Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050 is hands down one of the best purchases I've made. It's so good, I honestly don't have enough words to describe it. The temperature control is incredible — set it and it holds steady without constant checking. The gravity-fed charcoal system makes it super easy to get that authentic wood and charcoal flavor without the hassle of babysitting the fire all day. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and produces amazing smoke flavor every single time. The cooking space is massive, perfect for family gatherings, parties, or game days. Brisket, ribs, chicken — everything comes out juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. If you're thinking about getting a smoker, stop thinking and just get this one. It's a total game changer. I have been using this grill for a couple of months and have done everything from steaks to brisket to pork fish to eggs&bacon to cheese (cold smoked). After about the third cook I really got the hang of being able to get a fire started quickly and dinner going. The best so far was smoked 13lb turkey that I spatchcocked and it only took about 1:45 and was perfect.

I use my grill weekly and love it overall. Since day one the computer part has not worked as well as I had hoped. I do not keep it plugged in unless I am using it. Once I get the fire going I plug in the grill to start setting the temp and get the blower going. I do it in this order because the computer malfunctions / errors out every time and just beeps until I unplug and plug it back in. The screen throws all kinds of codes and it just won't do anything but beep. Sometimes it works after this process of unplugging and plugging back in after one time and time and times it takes three or more time. The temperature control using the knob works a quarter of the time and then I'll have to unplug and plug back in to do a system reset. The thermometer probes and ports have never worked correctly since I got the unit as well. If you put the electronic problems aside, and get it working right after all the unplug and resets, I absolutely love the grill. I love that you have a three in one unit. The few times that I have done a long smoker it is a little difficult to manage the smoke but that is part of the fun of smoking. I find that it is a pleasure to use, when its working how it should be. The charcoal consumption is good and I find myself using it year around.

This smoker is very easy to use. I enjoy the ability to check temps and adjust temps right from my phone. I can be fishing or at the store and still be in control of my smoker.

Bought this 4 years ago. Great features but don't always work properly. The computer components are not top quality. And it will randomly stop running or stay on when opening the lid at times. Other than that th whole concept of it is amazing

This is the best grill I have ever owned for cooking, Grilling, Smoking anything you want a BBQ for this does it better.. Hands down better than any pellet grill and I have had several of the top names.. I have to say that I am having a problem with mine and need a new display, Mine quit lighting up so I can not see temp or anything to set it.. Might be a fluke or maybe other people have this issue

I love the versatility of this grill. Low enough to smoke with great charcoal flavor. High enough to sear a ribeye or porterhouse. Then insert the griddle for smash burgers or Philly cheesesteaks!

It stopped working, replaced all switches and fan still not working. To much spent to have such a short life span.

I use these started with a propane torch to get everything going.
