First time would come out of your best ever. No limitation of new ideas to cook with Kamado Joe classic 3
I purchased my Kamado Joe III in mid-December. I have done several cooks including brisket, pork shoulder, steaks and burgers. I appreciate the flexible grilling/smoking and searing options I have with the KJ. I have had a Traeger Timberline for several years but I am now a KJ convert!
Upgraded from a Chargriller Akron Kamado and love the Big Joe III! The quality, versatility and ability to cook indirect and direct at the same time is unmatched in any other Kamado style grill, highly recommend for anyone who loves grilling! Just get a friend or 2 to help you put it together, because it is HEAVY!
I only had this 3 weeks , and I am Very Impressed !
Living in Alaska, I've had the pleasure of using the Kamado Joe Classic III, and I can't say enough good things about it! This grill has truly elevated my outdoor cooking game. I've cooked a variety of dishes, including mouth-watering brisket, delicious pizzas, tender pork shoulder, impressive tomahawk steaks, and whole chickens that turn out juicy every time. One of the standout features of the Kamado Joe Classic III is the exceptional flavor that comes from using lump charcoal. Unlike electric smokers, the lump charcoal imparts a rich, smoky taste to the food that simply can't be replicated. With the various accessories available, like the plate setter for indirect cooking and the baking stone for perfect pizzas, I can experiment and create elevated flavors and tenderness in nearly any dish. The versatility of this grill has me excited to experiment with even more recipes in the future! If you're looking for a high-quality, multi-functional grill, the Kamado Joe Classic III is an investment worth making. I can't wait to continue my grilling adventures with it!

Purchased our Classic Joe series 3 at start of Nov 24. Always owned gas bbq's and have a gas stove in kitchen. Convenience of gas is unbeatable but when it comes to flavor, the Kamado Joe wins hands down. So far have cooked chicken, tomahawks, brisket, leg of lamb and veg all turned out better than expected for first attempts. Added a pizza stone today and had a crack at homemade pizza. Everyone wanted more but ran out of dough. Enjoying the learning experience and there's plenty of beginner tutorials online. If you know how to start a fire you can use a Kamado Joe. Once you get the hang of controlling the temperature and wait for it to fully heat up before starting to cook it's worth the effort. Can't beat the taste of food cooked over hot charcoal.

This is the best grill I've ever cooked on. Everything turns out great, from briskets, to steaks, to pizza. My only regret is that I should have gotten the Big Joe.
I ll never go back to gas.. everything you cook on this taste great. I m in Canada and use at least 3 times a week all year round
I purchased my Big Joe 3 in July of 2023 after selling my Traeger Timberline 1300 and haven't looked back since. One of the big considerations for me was versatility. The Joe has delivered on so many different levels here. From smoking a brisket at 250° F, searing chicken thighs for chicken souvlaki, to reverse searing a steak (start out low and slow, pull the steak and finish on high heat) this grill has delivered beyond all of my expectations. The other major consideration for me was temperature regulation. Absolutely phenomenal in this case. Once you get your temperature honed in, the grill does a fantastic job of holding steady. The third callout is flavor. The ability to leverage charcoal and wood chunks was a huge driver for me to make this move, and I've not been disappointed. Finally, the Slo Roller. This has been pretty great for longer cooks, combined with the deflector plates for a "double indirect" heat. All in all, I can't recommend this grill enough. Any opportunity I get I find myself trying to sell friends and family on converting, and the ones that have, share my sentiment.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
