| Clearly a better choice.I purchased my Classic Joe III 2 months ago and have been very impressed. First the ability to precisely control cooking temperatures is astonishing. Whether it is low and slow or screaming hot the Joe can do the job. Many of the most useful accessories come standard. The lid can be raised or lowered with my little finger. On a low and slow smoke it maintains temperature for hours without further attention. This is my first experience with a Kamado type grill and I could not be more happy. | Best grill EVER!So, I was on the edge - should I keep the gas grill, or make the leap. Well. I am now feet first. It took me two cooks to get the charcoal ration correct, but I could not have been more pleased. I have grilled, smoked, seared, rotisseried (is that a word?) The versatility, flavor and results are all the BOMB!! I am a complete and utter convert. I have had gas, pellet and regular charcoal grills in the past. I am a Certified BBQ Judge, former restauranter, and you average Joe. I could not have asked for a better unit for all the attributes. | All in one grill. Amazing!I've had the big joe III for 8 months. I used it at least 3 times a week, I love it. I does everything grill, low and slow smoke and bake. I have the rotisserie attached and it's great. Once you stabilize the grill at the desired temp it's a dream. No temp fluctuations. | What a versatile cooker!!I have owned my Big Joe 3 for almost 2 years. Cooking on this Kamado is such a fun and rewarding experience. I have the cast iron half moon and it just adds to the versatility of this. I enjoy all the different features that Kamado joe has. After having the big Joe I also got a Joe Jr! | Holds temp even at below freezing temperaturesI purchased the classic 3 in November 2023. I have cooked spatchcock chicken, pork butts, burgers, shrimp skewers, prime rib roast, and roasted vegetables. I love how it holds temp on cold days. | First Kamado and I'm hooked!I came from using Weber gas and Recteq pellet grills. I was nervous and excited to try my hand at the more involved Kamado style grill. After just under 2 months of ownership I can say I'm glad I made the switch!
