This is a great heavy duty grill that hold the heat for a long time. You don't have to add much charcoal and you'll have heat for hours. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who loves to grill outdoor.

I shopped several built-in charcoal grills for my outdoor kitchen and the Blaze had all the features of other commercial grills at the best price point. I love my Blaze!

this grill gets hot! cooks around 600 degrees when you put the charcoal directly on the charcoal grate, you best be standing there or everything you cook will be blackened. I use a large stainless broiler pan with grate to put my charcoal in and push it to one end to help keep the temp down makes for easier cleaning and less wear on the grill.

At the outset, this is my second Blaze grill and I think they are a stellar brand and BBQguys has amazing service. I have one of the earlier propane models from 2013 and it still looks brand new. I have been wanting a top end charcoal grill for some time and really researched the upper end brands. Based on the durability of my 2013 model, and the service I received from BBQguys, I went with Blaze and this vendor. However, I am quite disappointment due to my noted issues below and based on the price. Delivery was amazing. Grill came in two days and the cart in four. Assembly was fairly simple, no thanks to the instructions. Positives: -Well built, very solid construction -not withstanding my issues. -HOT - this thing will get HOT, I mean when you raise up the charcoal, it will sear the steak like nothing I've seen. -Love the upgrade on the doors to hinges vice pin style, which broke on my older one. -Very thick grilling grates. -Very solid build - stainless steel looks amazing Negatives: -The charcoal tray and ash tray warped bad during first cook/seasoning. The charcoal tray did sort of bounce back after it cooled, but not back to normal. -Ash tray will not recover and is warped beyond the point I can hardly pull it out to empty it. -The distance at the lowest point is only 6" - not enough with a normal charcoal chimney, its just too hot. -They use the same metal frame template as the propane model, so I have a huge hole (for a propane tank) inside my cart - what a waste of space with a big hole. -Instructions made no sense, and despite it saying all the screws were the same, I ended up with 3 different sizes and lots of extras. -Vents are behind the coals, so you need to use a tool to open it. -Hot ash gets around the pan, so don't put paper towels or other things under there. I do plan on asking BBQ guys for a solution to this obvious factory defect.
Questions & Answers
Hi Texas! The Blaze Built-In Charcoal grill is all 304-grade stainless steel - inside and out.
Asked by Texas | Answered by TexasLight yourself. Just get a chimney. Easy.
Asked by Grady | Answered by GradyWhat I do is I raise the tray all the way up and remove the grill bars then load it up with charcoal and light it up with lighter fluid. If it's windy I just lower it. Once I get the coals to we're I want them to be then I put the grill screens back on. Nathan D Peters
Asked by Grady | Answered by GradyThe grill has no burners. You would use a firestarter for charcoal grills which you can find pretty much everywhere barbecues are sold. Or order on Amazon. Never use charcoal lighter fluid!
Asked by Grady | Answered by GradyThere are no built-in burners. A charcoal chimney works great for lighting the coals.
Asked by Grady | Answered by GradyThanks for asking. Yes, both lump charcoal and briquettes are acceptable fuel types for use with this grill. If you have any other questions please message us on Live Chat or call 877-743-2269 and we'll be happy to help.
Asked by BW | Answered by BWHi Norm, thanks for asking. The hook-and-hang system lets you easily pick up a cooking grate and hang it on the top of your grill so you can add more charcoal or wood while grilling. If you have any other questions please message us on Live Chat or call 877-743-2269 and we'll be happy to help.
Asked by Norm | Answered by NormHi Arno, You can use wood chunks or wood chips. For best results, it is recommended to use a combination of lump charcoal and wood. Be sure to check on the fire every hour during the cooking process. Hope this helps.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
