The small Lumin electric grill provides the grilling needs of individuals living in condos or apartments. The grill heats quickly, cooks consistently, and cools quickly when the heats is turned off. The grill and the supporting legs are small enough to safely store in the limited storage available to residents in condo-type homes.
This is a great grill that heats very evenly, and can steam or smoke as you want. I like not needing a gas tank and I like it better than any of my previous gas grilles.
We have been long timew Weber Q fans. But we travel in a travel trailer a lot and got tired of carrying around a tank of propane (and way too often forgetting to turn the grill off and burning up gas at night!) So we were delighted to see the electric option, which we have been using for a month. We love it. Easy to use and clean; gets very hot; good controls. Enthusiastically recommend it.
I have many grills and smokers; charcoal, pellet, and propane, plus the Ninja Woodfire oven. I wanted to add an electric grill and seriously considered the Ninja Woodfire Grill. After reading of issues with the Ninjas controller, pellet igniter, difficulty in cleaning the nonstick ridged griidle, I opted for the Weber Lumin for its simplicity and perfect size for my wife and me. My first cook was a reverse seared center cut tenderloin smoked with wood chips. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and grill marks.

Unfortunately Florida laws prohibit the use of gas grills on condo lanais. I have tried several electrics over the years (including an expensive Kenyon that I just threw away) and the Lumin is the first to reach 600 degrees for searing steaks and burgers. Having the large temperature range has allowed cooking many different foods.

Unfortunately, our unit only worked for 20 minutes before it would no longer heat up. The company sent us a new heating unit but it still didn't work. We decided to return it as we did not want to waste any more time trying to fix a brand new item we never got to use.

Weber has an amazing customer service dept.. I had an issue with my grill. I explained the problem sent them a video on the part that wasn't working. They sent me the replacement part very quickly my grill works perfectly.
Living in a city that does not allow open flame grilling, Lumin Grill is a great option. Heavy grates gives good sear/grill marks, cooking times different than open flame, takes longer to heat up. Overall great option LOVE IT
I have been a very satisfied Weber customer for more than 4 decades, but my recent experience with Weber and the Lumin grill is the reason for the 1-star rating. If possible, I would have given zero stars. I have owned the Lumin Electric Grill since October 21, 2023. I purchased it as a replacement for the Q2400 Electric Grill which failed after 4 years of heavy use (no complaints). I purchased the newer Lumin grill because it claimed to pre-heat more quickly and sear better because it reached higher temperatures. These claims were true initially. However, in the past several months I noticed that the grill was taking longer and longer to pre-heat and never reached optimal searing temperatures anymore. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue under warranty, I have a rather expensive paper weight sitting on my deck! I definitely do not recommend this grill or Weber to anyone anymore! It's very sad to see such a formerly great company fail so miserably!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
