Charbroil Edge Electric Grill - 22652143

I LOVE my new electric grill. At first, it took me a little bit to figure out the temperature ranges for high, medium, and low but a quick google search helped with that. I would like it to have a little larger grease trap and easier to access but all in all it's great. I had a table top electric grill and used it most nights to cook. I didn't want gas, pellets, or charcoal grills. I like the convenience of being able to plug it in and be able to instantly cook and never worrying if I have fuel.

Hi, Take it from a guy who can't have any kind of flames. This electric grill is perfect for me. It gets plenty HOT (700°F) in 15min. which is no problem for me, I can find plenty to do in a short 15 minutes. So far I've grilled chicken, burgers, links of all sorts, salmon and nice thick steaks (Rib Eye and New York) which were AWESOME. Maintaining is a breeze with the self-cleaning option. I've grilled with charcoal and gas grills and man, I think I may prefer this if I had a choice because of the lack of mess and ease of use and no fuss with lighter fluid/propane and an abundance of ashes..... Highly recommended. :) The only negative I guess I could say is it is a little expensive, but no more then a decent charcoal/propane grill and BTW I think it would beat the pants off of you know what competitor...W..... which I looked at a lot. Took me months to make my decision.

Assembly was made more difficult by the lack of labelling on the parts. Finally got a chance to use it a couple of times. Again, the instructions are confusing, somehow implying that one should start by heating the grill to 650 degrees before cooking. Then, at one point, it just decided to stop heating all together, so I had to restart it.

Grill looks great. The cleaning feature is nice but takes a long time. After the first use, the grill immediately looks badly aged inside. When building it out of the box, several parts were damaged. Only reason I'm keeping it is because I don't want to have to deal with returning it. Having a stand alone electric grill looks great, but you may be better off just getting a table top version. I'd love a refund and person to come pick it up without me having to deal with the return hassle

Had to switch to electric because of condo regulations and I'm pleasantly surprised at well this grill works. Worth the price.

Still have not received it have not received very poor customer service. No idea when i will receive it. Very un professional they are not trained in customer service also they do not call back

Honestly, steer fully away from this grill and Char-Broil. It's just not worth your effort and time. Item arrived damaged where the product was scratched, dented, and also used prior. The plate won't lay flat on it so you can't really use the grill or you'll have the plates constantly go up and down when you put items on it. I've contacted customer service 8 times now and each time they tell me it's getting escalated with no resolution. We missed out on our memorial day grill because of awful customer service.

Easy to put together with one person. Takes a bit longer to get up to temperature. Looks decent, but the grates are a major pain in the butt to clean. I'm not sure if I would buy this product again because of the cooking grates.

We bought this grill 9/3/22. I was so impressed with the grill at first. Excellent searing: loved the 700-degree temperature ability was impressive. The "clean" function never worked but I got around that. 10 months after purchase the main burner went out. (Of course, on a holiday weekend). The following week I called tech support, and they stepped me through a lengthy diagnostic process, and they determined that yes, the main burner coil had failed. Ok, so I was informed that they would ship me a new burner, but I would have to pay the shipping? Aggravating, but they sent the parts and I spent another 2 hours installing it. The grill worked as it should after that. Until ... 3 months later... the grill caught on fire. Literally almost caught our house on fire. I took the thing apart the next day... cleaned everything... put it back together and it came back to life without incident. We grill every weekend, by the way. This evening, (3/17/24) I started the grill up for our regular Sunday evening steak night; upon starting the grill made a strange electrical buzzing noise. Being concerned, I stayed nearby to make sure that all was good... 1 minute later the grill made a loud "bang" noise, started bellowing smoke, smelled like burning wires, etc. I unplugged the thing and decided that we are DONE with this grill! This thing is going to the dump and that's it for Charbroil and my family. Just too risky. So... Charbroil, what are you going to do now? Put us back on a new GAS grill of comparable price at no expense to us and we're good. I'll even delete this review. Anything short of that and I'll contact our family attorney to explore our options. The ball is in your court Charbroil. - The Costa's.

I bought this grill a few months ago, and it has changed how I cook. Grilling used to be a chore when either making sure I don't run out of propane or managing charcoal - but all I have to do with this grill is plug it in and it's ready to go within minutes. Maintaining temperature is super easy too - the grill just holds the temperature to whatever I set it for. Cleanup is also a breeze with the self cleaning mode - it burns off everything from the grill and I just have to wipe away the ashes afterwards. Now I'm grilling instead of frying more often and enjoying tastier and healthier food!
