This Americana by Meco electric grill has a 1500-watt heating element that plugs into a standard household outlet. This electric grill features a thermostat control with a low-medium-high setting, a reflector pan that directs heat to the cooking surface, and a pre-assembled grill hood and bowl. The three-position cooking element provides a versatile cooking experience by allowing direct and indirect cooking. The porcelain-coated cooking grate provides 202 square inches of usable cooking surface. The sturdy steel cart features two wheels, two handy fold-away side tables made to look like real wood and a wire lower shelf for extra storage. The hood is equipped with a stay-cool wooden-like handle so there's no need to reach for the oven mitt every time it's time to flip your burgers. This grill is safe, simple, easy to clean, and just the right size to accommodate many spaces. This grill requires a minimum of 15 amps and standard 120-volt grounded plug. About 40 years ago, being tired of charcoal grilling and not interested in gas grills and bottles, we tried our first Meco electric grill and never looked back. No long waits for charcoal to be ready, no messy ashes to clean up, no gas bottles to buy and return. Having been covered to protect against the elements, our grills have lasted for at least ten years.

We love the grill. It is a replacement for the same grill we had for several years, but had to retire it. Took too long to get it, but we are happy with it. We recommend it to those who aren't allowed or prefer not to use propane or charcoal on their patio, balcony, or back yard. Especially good for condo, townhouse owners

This is a great little electric grill, I do (did) a lot of cooking on this grill (usually 4 to 5 times a week) the flavor of the food when it comes off is just like it came off an open flame grill. I have owned this grill for approx. 5 yrs. HOWEVER I have also had to REPLACE the HEATING ELEMENT (comes with control knob) 4 TIMES already and the last one I installed just went out on me! Also TWICE the CONTROL KNOB FRIED OUT as well. I wish there was a way for Meco to get the electronic parts of this grill to last longer.

Asked by Joyce | Answered by JoyceHi Joyce, Regarding the grease pan, I would call Meco customer service. They will send you a metal grease pan. I don't know if there is a specific grill cover. I suggest getting the grill's measurements and then buying a grill cover.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
