Have had our unit 4 years and have loved it for the most part. It cooks great with minimal flare ups. Probably the best grill I have cooked on. We just replaced the heat tents, burners, etc. which I feel is exceptionally good. My issue is the rusting on the base of the unit, coming off in large sections. I thought there might be a replacement part but I'm not finding it. I will need to sand blast it and repaint. There is also surface rust on the lid and side table which I am trying to remove with fine steel wool product. We have kept our unit under porch and out of weather as much as we possibly can. I feel like the rusting is a defect on Charbroil's part. Overall, I love the grill but esthetically it is lacking overtime.

This is the best cooking grill I've ever owned in my adult life. However, the quality of the materials is inferior to some I've owned in the past. The bottom plate below the doors is bubbling up and the gas tank tray rollers have frozen even though they were lubricated routinely.

I bought this last year. Looks very nice on my new patio but really has an undersized burner. As you see from other reviews, This grill struggles to get to 350 degrees fahrenheit. As a result, hard to get a real good sear or even grill veggies.

I've had my grill and approximately 3 months and have used it about 10 times for simple cooking. While it's nice aesthetically, the igniter has failed for no apparent reason. We purchased a really nice expensive cover for it and are baffled with the igniter failure. Will call Charbroil and seek a warranty replacement. The light/switch on my Griddle know has failed also. It seems the electronics on Charbroil's Medallion Modular Outdoor Kitchen equipment is disappointing for their price point(s).

The igniter and lights stopped working after a few weeks when I went to use it for the first time to cook for a family gathering. Luckily I still have my Weber that I've used for years with no issue. I paid this much for an unusable product - not even one single use!

We like the protection from flare ups that cause burnt food if you are not right on top of the grill. The 3 burner appears to be only 20% smaller than the 5 burner. We like the drawers to store things. We like the pull out shelf. We were not expecting to need it to be plugged in order for it to light without a matchl. The stick match ports are nice for looking at the flame for each burner.

I have used a smaller footprint two burner Char Broil previously and really like the Tru-Infrared cooking. The heat is even and lots of it. It can make great pizza with a little planning. This is more of a premium version with lighted knobs and interior lights and a third burner. Very nice feel and overall nice quality. The larger 5 burner version was just too big for my needs but looks nice.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
