I have been a Blackstone customer for a few years and pulled the trigger on the 1902 due to being interested in the cabinet storage. But, The top drawer gets pretty hot, so I am wondering what it could be used for. I hoped to put spices and rubs in it, but I doubt the plastic containers can handle the heat. Am I missing something?

I bought this griddle in late October 2022. Upon receipt, I noticed the ignitor button had adhesive around it and just assumed sloppy install job. By December, the ignitor button had broken off, and I discovered that the threaded insert had already been broken off, and someone had glued it back in place (thus the adhesive). I contacted BS and received a replacement which required me to disassemble the top half of the grill from the cart. After an hour + of getting that replaced I was back in business again. Prior to the first issue, the lid had never acted just right, and I assumed that was due to a design flaw where the cover did not have enough support, thus it flexed when opening it. After closer inspection it was obvious that the dimensions of the lid were a shade different from the base and that was part of the cause of my issues. The next time I used the griddle, the lid started to stick when I opened it. I went ahead and opened it, and one of the bolts holding the lid in place sheared off. I reached out to BS asking to return my grill due to multiple issues within first 90 days and they refused. Per their policy THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON USED PRODUCT. Instead they will keep shipping you replacement parts every time something breaks. Luckily I have the skills and tools to drill out the sheard bolt, but if I didn't I would have no other option. Total disappointment and I will make sure anyone in my circles hears the issues that I have gone through.

Great product, solid construction, cooks great as advertised. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is there is not a way to level the griddle. This could easily be fixed with either set screws on the griddle top or adjustable casters! Would still recommend!

I have had this grill now for a couple of weeks and I absolutely love it. I chose this model instead of the air fryer models because I felt a need to have more room to store all my grilling accessories. I am glad I went with this model. I love how the griddle locks into place and I don't have to worry about it sliding. I also love the slide out drawer that holds the propane tank, which keeps me from bending over really far and precarious position to change the tank, very thoughtful. The lid the covers the entire griddle is great quality and not too heavy. It also has sides that block the wind from blowing out the flames. The left side has a decent side shelf with a magnetic accessory holder along with the right side that also has a magnetic accessory holder but the right side shelf has a cutting board which can pop out and allow you to throw trash away to an underneath foldable trash bag holder. Also very nice for prepping outside. can't forget the paper towel holder on the other side which makes it very convenient for when you need to wipe your hands or wipe off the griddle. By far besides cooking all the great meals on this, my favorite thing is the drawers and storage space. I have a lot of Blackstone accessories and I'm able to keep them all in these two drawers and open storage area. I bought the large cover that has zippers on it, so it makes it very convenient to when I would need to put my grilling accessory utensils away. I can just unzip the front of the cover, put them away in the drawers and zip it back up and I don't need to take the entire cover off. Definitely going to take care of this one because I wanted to last a long time, I really love it. As far as putting it together, I did it by myself using a drill which definitely helped. I had to get my 16-year-old son to help me a few times with lifting the bigger part of the top to connect it to the bottom cart side. Other than that it can be done on your own, but I will take a little while.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
