We bought this last summer and always follow the cleaning and seasoning instructions. This summer we used it once and then cleaned, seasoned and stored it for a few weeks. Went to use it again and the finish is peeling off and rust was underneath. Don't feel comfortable using it anymore. Very bummed because we really enjoyed the new things we could cook with the griddle insert. Not worth the price if it needs to be replaced every year.

Heavy, well-crafted, great seasoning/conditioning directions, works perfectly on my,now 10+ year old, 3-burner weber on top of the grates. Sides are just the right height to contain liquids while still allowing some to vent through the provided slot.

I bought this earlier in the year. I followed the directions carefully to make sure the griddle was seasoned properly. I LOVE the way it works - it's heavy as heck but it works great. The only issue I have is RUST! I clean it according to the directions, make sure it is completely dry before stowing it away in the accessory cabinet on the side. The grill is completely covered so no water is getting in. Why is this happening? I know see that you are promoting a line of "rust proof griddles" - I wish this was a feature on the one I just spent all that money on. I hate to throw it away but I don't feel comfortable using it if it will continue to rust. Future buyers beware and maybe look into the rust-proof line instead.

Absolutely love this purchase. I use my griddle 4-5 times a week. Don't know why waited so long. Had mine for about7 months.

The flat top griddle insert is the perfect addition to our Weber grill. Make sure you season it before use and you will have no issues. You can still use the grill while at the same time, you can use the flat top. It's perfect for cooking up veggies, eggs, bacon, grilled sandwiches & delicious smash burgers. Be aware that the flat top griddle gets hotter than the regular grill so burgers will cook faster. Also, you should cook with the grill lid open for best results.

Love Weber products, but this griddle just keeps rusting, I've seasoned it according to instructions, cleaned properly, re-oiled (seasoned) put away dry in covered grill, go to use it and its showing rust again, Maybe I hit a bad production run, but I'm back to using a cast iron skillet on top of grill.

Bought this last year and always cleaned before and after use per the instructions and the griddle always develops rust. It's to the point where I don't feel safe using it anymore. I would not recommend purchasing this.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
