Been grilling on 14" & 18" Smokey Joe and Jumbo Joe's for 10 years. My girlfriend gifted me this 22" original kettle premium for Christmas and I couldn't be happier. All of the extra grill area gives me much more heat control and grilling is not only easier but this grill is much more versatile.

Overall, good product. My only concern is the lid material, which is too soft, and the lid is bending easily.

This is the 3rd 22" Weber Kettle Grill I have owned since 1970. I purchased the first one in September 1975 and it lasted until May 1996., and I still have the owners manual for it. The Second one lasted until December 2023, and Number 3 was purchased in December 2023. I can smoke anything I like on my .. I have looked at pellet grills, but the expense is too much for me, so I stick with a winner price wise and for what I can do with it. I love cooking indirect, because it is the easiest way to cook and smoke the meats and vegetables you like. I love Weber Grills and want to add a cast iron grill to it for better searing of meats. One day I will probably quit being so tight with my money and get a Weber Pellet Grill but for now I will happily cook on my Weber. I feel you can own a Weber Product and have the best or you can own one of the rest. The review title says it best for me. The more things (Grills) that change, the more I stay the same.

After putting the lower half together I placed the lid on the grill and noticed that the lid had been crushed during the shipping/handling process. I took the grill back to the store for an exchange. The new grill is not damaged and I expect it to function as flawlessly as my previous Weber kettle grill which I had owned for nearly 14 years.

I wanted a charcoal grill so I asked my wife for the Weber for Christmas. Seeing as how I haven't cooked on charcoal in over 30 years I was a little nervous. The Weber was easy to assemble and a breeze to use. My steaks and burgers have never tasted better. I have thoroughly enjoyed cooking on my Weber kettle.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
