Weber 22-Inch Kettle Ultimate Bundle - Black

This is my third Kettle grill and my first with the built-in thermometer. My wife prefers a charcoal grill over a gas grill. Plenty of surface space as I recently grilled a dozen burgers along with 10 brats at the same time. I've used my older grill as a smoker as well and plan to do the same with this one.

I always grew up owning a weber grill and they last forever! Thats the reason why i own one now and still always satisfied with the different type of cooks you can do on a weber.

This is my 4th Weber Charcoal grill and it is outstanding. All of my Weber grills have been great. They are tough and they really do away with the issue of flair ups. If you have a flair up you can adjust the vents if it is a big flair up or a few drops of water if it is small. I recommend Weber Charcoal grills without hesitation.

The kettle is an excellent cooker and with a few added accessories it is possible to do a fine job of cooking most anything. I would highly recommend the charcoal baskets which can be used in many different configurations to achive separate cooking zones and effectively manage charcoal burn. The vents and ash catcher work very well, but removing the ash dump pan is a bit finicky. The only real ding I would mention is the wheels and legs are pretty cheesy for a premium cooker. I replaced mine with a nice aftermarket cart with a table top and shelf plus a lid holder. I really appreciate Weber quality. I'be got a Weber Spirit gas grill that I've been cooking on for 10 years. With a once a year pressure washing it is still working fine. I expect the same performance from the Kettle.

I'm 58 years old and this is my third Weber Kettle. I've owned other smokers and grills over the years but if I had to choose just one it would be the Weber Kettle. You can smoke, bbq and grill anything you want. You can really dial in the temp you want using the vents. These units are very durable and the only reason I had to replace my last one after 15 years of use was because a wind storm that damaged the unit when it blew off my patio. Great product Weber!

As with my former kettle grill, this is a great product and performs just as I wanted it. My only regret is that Weber no longer offers the 18 inch version of this grill… With the Ash catcher. I feel the Ash catcher is critical and I did not need a grill quite this large because I am only one person but I did get the, larger one because I had no other choice. I did find day brand online that was smaller with an ash catcher… But I felt more comfortable staying with the Weber name.

I am so glad I went with the MasterTouch. All the extra bells and whistles are 100000% worth it. I'm not a grilling or smoking pro, but I've already made some killer chicken wings on this grill a few times to rave reviews. The lid catcher, the thermometer, the insulated handles, the one-touch cleaning system—all so useful. I feel totally satisfied with my purchase and am excited for many more years of smoking and grilling!

My biggest issue is the top vent not having a heat resistant handle. I burned my thumb and index finger before realizing this. The grill I had prior had a heat resistant handle on it so I touched it unconsciously. lol instead of grilled ribs I grilled my hand. I also dislike the position of the thermometer. All and all it's a great grill and I enjoy cooking on it every weekend. It gets the job done. The grill rack also opens on both sides and that's a plus. I would recommend. Great buy for the price 100%.

This Grill was easy to assemble, with clear instructions. Once assembled, I found the heat management intuitive, with cooking results superior to my previous grill. I really like the ability to open the grate to add coal as needed throughout the cook. The lid being able to hang directly on the drum is another nice feature.
