Everything you're looking for in a grill. Great air flow and temperature control.
Great grill. Same quality as the last one, with one complaint They removed the 2nd handle, I assume to cut costs. I would gladly pay a little extra to be able to move the grill around a little easier and have extra space to hang utensils.

Easy installation and easy cleanup after grilling. The ash catcher is easy to clean after you grill and the lid mount while you're grilling is one of the main reasons I purchased a Master Touch.
Well made, holds heat well, customer service is awesome
For many years I used propane because it's quicker, knowing all along that charcoal produces much better taste results. I recently decided that, since I'm retired, I had time to use charcoal again. I wanted a good quality grill with easy ash-removal features but didn't cost what my first car did. After a lot of research the Master-Touch was the choice. I couldn't be happier. A steak done over charcoal is well worth the extra time to get the coals hot.
This is the best 22 inch charcoal kettle grill I have ever owned. I'm impressed with this Weber grill keeping constant cooking temperature of what ever you're cooking. I'm very satisfied and recommend this Weber to everyone I know.
A Weber kettle was my first charcoal grill (talking early '80s), and it was a solid cooking partner for many years until I finally replaced it with a Brinkman. After some 25 years on that grill, I "upgraded" to a Char Griller offset smoker. Big mistake, as it wasn't able to a) handle the heat from a wood fire and b) was frustrating to use as a direct charcoal grill due to the decreased distance between the fire and the food. By then, Brinkman was no mas, and I was stuck. Ultimately it was decided that the smoking was going to happen on a Yoder pellet grill, and the food that really shines when cooked over charcoal was gonna happen on a new Weber. Gotta hand it to Weber, they didn't mess too much with what was already working. I appreciate the heat shield underneath the handle on the lid, and the temperature gauge is also a welcome addition. Get the Premium though, so you'll have that handy ash clean out. It's a safety issue really, since it helps prevent hot ashes/tiny bits of glowing coal from blowing around. Easy to disengage and empty, and you'll only have to do that every 3 cooks or so. The lid still sits nice and snug on the kettle's bottom, so you can close things up when you're done and the fire suffocates quickly (very handy for conserving charcoal). I also love the two hinged sections of the cooking grate, so you can add more fuel without having to lift the grate/food out of the way. If I could change one thing, it would be the orientation of the under-lid hook to 0° from the handle as opposed to its current 90°. I'm used to it now, but it does pose a greater risk of skin-to-hot lid contact. The plastic grips attached to the handles do a good job of dissipating heat, but time will tell if they hold up like their hardwood predecessors. The wheels roll well and while also made of plastic, they're not getting hit with the heat from the kettle. When this grill isn't in use I cover it with a Weber cover. A pretty janky cover, in direct contrast to the awesome kettle grill. It's too short to adequately cover those plastic wheels and a little too roomy, with only a single Velcro loop to secure it. Any kind of wind causes it to loft right off. The material itself seems cheap, too. When it goes down I'll shop around for something more substantial for sure.
Using this new grill is like pulling a cast iron skillet out of the cabinet: I instantly know its best use and best features. I owned one over twenty years ago which ended up worn out and was discarded in a move. I like the ash collection a lot, and the bottom swivel vent clears ash out by swinging it open closed a few times.
Great versatile grill that can crush easy items like burgers and has handled some smoking very well too. No problems with this grill so far.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
