I have had to replace this glow plug several times. Please look into this and come up with a solution. I am growing tired of having to purchase these so frequently.
I have the EX6 and I like others, have a problem with the Glow Plug going out. Seems like Weber would be able to fix this well known issue with the Pellet Grill.
I continue to have glow plug issues. Like most reviews, it is very frustrating that they it goes out too frequently. It is the only issue that continues. It is telling that the local hardware store stopped selling these.

I need to change the glowplugs every month, i aslo think its a problem with the internal termometer. Not possible to find a replacement termometer and I cant understand why the glowplug needs to be changed so often.

I hate to pile on, but I have to agree with the other reviews. The price to replace is far too high considering how frequently they break. If I was replacing one a year, I probably would not care. But I am buying them once a month for the full season. I tried emailing to ask about them, and never got reply.

Since pre-ordering my EX4 in Jan 2020, I have gone through six of these glow plugs. While Weber, has sent me 3 replacements, I am now having to purchase them at random intervals. Some one has to have a better product out there that lasts.

The Good: I have a Smoke fire EX4 and I love it when it works. It produces professional level smoked meats which I believe can beat any other smoker on the market. The Bad: These glow plugs do not last, I have to replace them about every other cook. Really need Weber to step up there game here and find materials that last. I wouldn't care if I had to change them out yearly and was getting 50-60 cooks out of the. Heck, I wouldn't even mind if they lasted 10-20 cooks, but every other cook is shameful.

The Smokefire came with 3 of these. I wondered why ... now I know. The only good thing that I can say about the glow plugs is that they are easy to change. I've started logging the life cycle of the things and I'm shopping for an aftermarket product.

I have an FX-4 and it is wonderful…when it works. Frequently the fire will not start or go out while cooking, requiring going through the lengthy shut down procedure before trying to start again. The glow plug is not easy to replace and this must be done every 6 months. They are expensive. I once tried order them and they were out of stock.

brand new - first time firing it up the glow plug wasn't getting hot.. pulled it out and just kinda re inserted it and viola and worked like a champ the ribeye was delicious.. problem is that was it.. it's not heating up now.. what's up with that.. is this a common problem

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
