I've had a number of grills over the years, and none get hot as fast, and seem to cook this evenly. My last grill was 3 years old, and the burners, diffusers, etc. rusted, and I couldn't find replacement parts. I'm sure it will be a while before I need replacement parts for this one, but I can get them pretty much anywhere.

I selected the SP-335 because it has many of the features of the more expensive Genesis models and it will replace my 7+ year old Weber Q1200. I took delivery of it just yesterday and the first thing I noticed after taking delivery is how awkward it is to install a 20 lb propane tank that weighs in at 37-38 lbs when full. At 70 years old getting the tank onto the scale hook is not an easy task. I don't feel that this is a very good or well thought out design and could have been done better. Only two hooks for my grilling tools? C'mon Weber, you can do better than that. How many grill-masters do you know who only have two tools? Magnetic hooks have been ordered. Now that I'm done whining I can say that after burn-in and my first cook, I'm already loving this grill despite my previous complaints. Some earlier reviews cited the undependability of the side burner on a breezy day. During burn-in I had the side burner lit for about 30 minutes and it stayed lit even though we had a pretty good breeze. My first cook was spiced chicken breasts which I seared for 2 minutes on each side using the searing station before moving them to lower heat to finish cooking. They had just the right amount of crispiness on the outside while being juicy and flavorful on the inside. I'm looking forward to grilling some stuffed scallops and shrimp later today and marinated steak tips tomorrow.

Liked my old Weber but new Spirit 335 needs some rethinking . Try loading the gas tank. At 78 yeas I cannot hold a 35 pound tank at arms length to get on the hook and do not want it sitting on the ground. It is now sitting on a piece of wood over the hole. Stopped using the scale years ago as it was very inaccurate. Chrome on chrome chrome knobs are impossible to read in direct sunlight and difficult to read if you have a sight problem. Ask your father (over 65 ) to load a tank and use the knobs. Your tank hook does not on all tanks. Nice to see the burners going front to back instead of side to side.

Nice size for a family of three. Heats up quickly and evenly. Roasted corn and grilled steaks, chicken and hot dogs without any issues. Easy clean up of drip pan and grilling grates.

Overall an excellent grill. Pros: Attractive. Heats up fast. Rolls easily on concrete. Side burner "high" setting is more than adequate. Quality of construction. Great range of heat on grill. Indirect heat cooking ability. Cons: Low heat on side burner could be lower (minor). Difficult to see off/on position of knobs (minor). I put a small piece of blue tape on each knob as a position indicator.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
