Not happy. Have 3 generations in family using Weber grills. Bought this with great excitement but soon was disappointed with the quality. Although it 'cooks' well - three complaints: 1) Pock marks appeared on stainless steel cover first day; easily scratches when cleaning off sauce 2) Stainless steel edges can cut you life a knife - around door and side shelves - if you're not careful;cheap quality and craftsmanship 3) Black paint will blister if it gets too hot - of course, keep an eye on it, don't walk away too long All-in-all, the food has come out great and delicious - nice fat grills and good flame.

this grill probably wont last nearly 18 years, should have not gotten stainless, but, it is starting to rust, after only 2 months. a child inadvertently turned gas for side burner, lit main burner with out looking, me BAD now the cover on side burner is scorched, need new??

This is a very good gas grill, I purchased it to replace my 22 year old Weber gas grill. The only problem I have with it is that the control knobs seem cheep or flimsy. In my opinion the knobs would be better if there was an indicating line on them to more easily see the setting of that burner. The Genesis models have much better control knobs, perhaps there is an upgrade available or maybe Genesis knobs will fit on Spirit models, but I don't think so.

We live on a body of salt water so purchased another Weber grill with stainless steel grates as our previous Weber grill with stainless steel grates lasted for more than 15 years.

I replaced my 10 yr old Genesis grill with the Spirit SP-335. I actually like this grill better than the Genesis. It heats quicker, has the searing feature, which I love, and is plenty big for me. I only have one complaint and that is with the gas knobs. Unless you have eyesight like hawk, you can't tell if the gas is on or off unless you bend down and look closely at the raised etching of kettle grill on knob. There should be some marking that stands out where you can instantly tell position of gas knob. I painted a red dot on my knobs so I could easily tell the position of my gas knobs. The kettle grill on knob is cute but poorly thought out. Would have rated 5 stars but for the knobs.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
