It was very easy to install and when you get it in place, it is sturdy. But, it has a very flimsy construction and sometimes it takes a bit to get it locked in. Having a place to hang the top rack is a big plus.

Very functional shelf. Installed in less than 3 minutes. No problems with the cover fitting over the shelf since it folds down. Makes putting things on and taking of the smoke fire much easier.

A much needed front shelf for the EX4. It works fine, just wish it was a heavier gage SS. Flexes too much. Looks good on the smoker.

Was so excited to get this new shelf. I feel that the lid handle interferes with the usable surface of the grill. The shelf should be lower or deeper. If u have a large roast or a whole chicken, the handle would definitely hit the food, so have to say that I am really disappointed. My husband had to make modifications to make the shelf more sturdy. Love everything Weber, but not this item.

Functional front shelf for the Smokefire. Makes loading and unloading the grill easier instead of balancing trays or cutting boards. A nice addition is that it has the hooks to store your upper rack when not in use.

Installing is super quick and easy. Moving the self from down to upright position requires a little more effort to swing that other pellet grill shelves. Feels solid, and seems to slope up at user end to prevent plates and utensils rolling off. I wis they came with the smoker when I purchased as it helps a ton!!

Really was looking forward to the front table but a bit disappointed in it. The stainless is a lower grade and it feel a bit flimsy not sure I trust putting anything of much weight on it. Feels like a little bit of a downgrade from normal Weber quality.

The front stainless steel shelf was a great, relatively inexpensive, enhancement to my EX4. It was a quick 5 minute installation out of the box, folds neatly when not in use, and provides a convenient shelf for holding food when adding to or taking off the smoker, as evidenced by how easily it accommodated a 20# full packer brisket I recently smoked. Plus it provides a convenient holder for the upper grate when not in use. While I understand the trade-off between materials of construction and cost, the one suggestion I have is that I wish Weber would have considered a slightly thicker gauge Stainless Steel.

It's beautiful, shinny and stainless. Just not as stable as I thought it would be. For the price I expected more. But it's completely functional for tools and light trays. I wouldn't sit two pork shoulders on it. Easy to install. Folds up nicely.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
