Fairly easy to set up and use. Two issues: (1) the stone is a tad too wide and doesn't easily go thru the door opening. Taking it out for cleaning and putting it back in requires some force. (2) more importantly, the flame is hard to control. If you open the chimney all the way, the fire will burn the crust but if you don't, the oven will not be hot enough. All that said, I was still able to make some really good pizzas!

(Coming from two quite experienced cooks) We've officially had this Ooni for 2 years and to date, we have never had a pizza turn out well. Crisp outside, soggy inside, hard to turn in the small oven space. Everytime I use it, I swear I'll never use it again but we have kept trying and trying. Well tonight was the last straw, it is on the street waiting for bulk trash or some other poor sap can grab it and try their hand. It is the biggest piece of junk in my opinion. Whoever is giving this 5 stars must be Gods favorite because this thing is IMPOSSIBLE.

Very easy set-up and the process of cooking the pizza is incredible easy and fast. It took a few try before my husband felt like he had a good understanding of how long to leave it in and when it was ready. We've played with a few different pizza dough recipes, including cauliflower crusts and gluten free, we have been very happy with the over all results and taste of the pizzas. Clean-up/storing the Omni is also very easy. Love the travel bag. Planning on taking it to friends and trail gating .

I bought a Fyra a few years ago and it has been fantastic. I read a review today that complained it is hard to use and the pellets get stuck and that it realy does not cook pizzas fast. In my experience these things aren't true there is a little bit of a learning curve but that is part of the fun. If you keep your pellets dry they should not stick badly if they get caught up a little just use a skewer or stick to knock them loose. You do have to keep an eye on the flame an temp but thats true cooking with any flame, a little patience and prctice you can get amazing results. I think most of the negative reviews are lack of patience and unwillingness to learn. I recommend the OONI Fyra to friends often'

The idea is great. But it is really difficult to make pizza in these. The dough gets stuck every time inside the oven and you have a difficult time getting the pizza back out, often ruining that pizza in the process. We've tried flour, corn meal etc, but it's still a giant pain. We have worked around this by cooking the dough in the oven first and then putting toppings on and then cooking again, but even still it causes issues sometimes. If cheese or any toppings fall off when sliding the pizza in, it becomes harder to get the pizza out. When you open the front cover, flames will often pour out the back of the oven which does not seem safe. I like that it uses wood pellets and is more or less easy to start and get heated up. We are getting better at making pizzas in it and it is enjoyable, just every time there is frustration. If you make a few pizzas, one of them will definitely give you problems at some point. Also, there is a piece of metal on the top on the inside that you put in, and it falls out every time you try to clean or brush the oven out if you hit it. Since the opening is narrow, this happens almost every time. Sometimes it falls out when pulling a pizza out and then you have this 900 deg F piece of metal that you have to move out of the oven and just leave it out for the rest of the time. I'm not sure what it even does or if it's important, but seems like it should be a built in piece or attach tighter so it doesn't just fall out. Other than that I like the oven.
Very hard to keep the temperature consistent
Wood pellets always get stuck and don't come down easily by tapping it lightly. Sometimes when when I get it in jammed it will all fall down and extinguish the fire too.

I was excited to receive this pizza oven as a gift and initially loved the sleek design and how quickly it heats up. It's a very portable option, which is great for small gatherings. However, I found it challenging to maintain a consistent temperature, as the pellet hopper can clog easily and requires frequent attention. While the oven can make great pizza, it's difficult to use when cooking for a family and the size is a bit small for practical home use. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to return or upgrade it to a larger multi fuel option, but Ooni did offer some troubleshooting tips. This could be a good fit for someone looking for a compact, portable oven, but it may require some patience and careful monitoring during use.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
