I have had this grill for several months now which has given me a chance to use most of its features like the rotisserie. smoke box and side light as well as the grill itself. First let me mention that even though I gave this a five star rating, getting the grill delivered intact during this pandemic was quite challenging and required many phone calls over a two month period before finally receiving a usable product. Warning you need at least two (three would be better) strong people to lift the grill head and align it with the tabs on the cart . I am 71 and had a 65 year old friend help me and it was a challenge for us. (luckily we are very experienced at doing this type of project. I did run into a problem which I think I caused by being too rough when closing the tank drawer which resulted in the anti tip bracket coming loose. I sent an email to DCS in California with pictures and a description of the problem. They got back to me within a couple hours and had arranged for a tech to come out and fix it for me. Best customer service I have ever received., tech came out a couple days later to fix the problem. The engineering and design of this project is amazing!! Perhaps the most impressive design aspect is the grease routing system. Like most grills this one has a large grease catching tray which is the width of the grill box. But DCS designed a smaller catch tray which fits within the larger tray. This little tray is easy to remove and clean and so far after about 30 uses ALL of the grease has been captured by this little tray making cleaning a simple task. This grill gets hot, very hot. for most grilling I preheat grill then turn to the lowest setting for grilling and maybe one burner on high for searing steaks etc. The rotisserie is heavy duty and also very hot which gives a good range for heat for different meats. I've only used the smoking box a couple of times and like that it has its own burner which gives good control over smoke.

Had a dcs for 8 years . Moved and bought anew one. After about 3 years had trouble with igniter very. Very difficult to change battery. Dcs rep came he had trouble but after an hour was able to install the battery. About a month later the battery became lose again and I cannot get it to work. Have to use a match. Not a happy barbacurer.

It shows the cutout width is 45 3/4 Inches in the diagram. You can view the installation guide on this product page in the Manufacturer's Downloads section, next to the Specifications.

When will my item arrive?

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
