I got this for Christmas and have been trying to get it to help me but if I walk away from the grill it loses pairing and will not reconnect easily.

My son bought me this 2 years ago I've been trying to work with it. Don't understand why you need Wi-Fi. I checked the temperature with A manual probe It was off 20 and 30゚. It takes forever to pair. Why do I need Wi-Fi I can't take It when I go camping. Don't waste your money

The website bounces me around a lot. I want a detailed manual but when it seems I'm there the page goes somewhere else. I don't mind looking it up on line, but at least make your menu user-friendly. I need to know the battery level before grilling. No sure instruction on how to check, etc

The hub doesn't stay connected and the probes don't measure accurately. Don't waste your money on this gimmick.

I bought this grill less than a week ago and it arrived with tape all over it and when you pull the tape off the tape residue is still on like the stainless part of the grill. Not sure how to remove that without damaging it.

Just received this device from Weber (ordered from my old account by mistake). After fully charging it a software update was available and that download and install was successful. It connected to Bluetooth immediately but never to wifi and I was 10 feet from the router. Additionally the registration step wouldn't complete either. Simply a waste of time and money.

At first, I bought a lesser (cheaper) wireless probe only to discover it would give temperatures 30 degrees off of what the actual temps. were. I sent it back and then bought one of these Weber Smart Grill probe\wireless connect devices. The BEST decision I made. I highly recommend this product!
Dosent like to stay connected very well with Wi-Fi disconnects every time the screen on your phone goes dark

If you are having issues connecting your Connect Hub to WiFi: Connecting via WiFi: • Open the Connect app • Ensure you have already established a Bluetooth pairing • After the first download, you will be asked to “Extend your range” after pairing via Bluetooth. If you skip this step, you can follow the following steps to connect via WiFi. • Tap on the three dots at the bottom of the screen • Tap on the image of Connect Hub • Tap on WiFi under Connectivity • Tap Set up WiFi • Select your WiFi network and enter your password • The password field is case sensitive! Make sure the password is being entered exactly • Verify that there are no unnecessary spaces before the password • Tap Connect Is your WiFi network 2.4 ghz or a dual network of 2.4 ghZ and 5 ghZ? • If 5 ghZ only, this WiFi router is not compatible. Please pair via Bluetooth instead. • 2.4 ghZ and 5 ghZ dual networks are compatible and can be connected to Are you close enough to your WiFi router to achieve a strong signal? • A quick way to confirm this is to see how many bars the WiFi signal displays when your phone is connected to WiFi • If the signal is weak, try to move closer to your router • Note that you still have to connect your Connect Hub to WiFi through the app even if your phone itself is already on WiFi – these are two separate scenarios Our Care team will be reaching out to follow up. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
