Got it all set up and paired with my phone. Now just need some meat and time to give it a whirl on the grill for a true review. Looks good so far!

I really like the control and information it gives me when grilling large cuts of meat or turkeys. However it would be nice if the probes were wireless so they would work with the rotisserie.

This Weber Connect hub is outstanding. I grill year round and not only can I spend less time out in the cold, but also can cook to the exact temperatures that each of my family members enjoy. I don't have to cut into anything or probe for temps multiple times. Nice job on this product.

I first heard about Weber connect hub on Steve Dahl's Podcast, then a representative from Weber talked about it at great length and I was sold. I ordered 3 units, one for myself and my son and son-in-law. We couldn't be more impressed with the product. We live in the Chicago southwest suburbs and we like to grill year round and this item is a must! I also, very impressed with all of the items on your website.

I have owned the igrill and I will be going back to it. A complete loss of functionality vs the igrill app. I wonder if the person who designed the app has ever used a charcoal grill. The good. Rechargeable battery. Good range on the Bluetooth. Option for WiFi (did not function or connect), looks nice. They added a timer function (all serious grillers know you go by temp not time) The bad. I had hoped there would be backwards compatibility with the igrill and the connect devices and their apps. Unit required multiple software updates right out of the box. Would not connect to WiFi. The ugly. It comes with an ambient temperature probe but there is not a program for grill temp where you can set a temp range with high and low notifications. For a charcoal grills this is the main function of grill thermometer - to monitor the fire Without this function the Weber Connect is little more than an oven probe. The grill programs do not allow for you to adjust to a specific doneness. If you select prime rib you are stuck with 5 options for target temp. Grill programs cannot be saved. And there is not a graph view like the igrill had. Overall This is not a product for a grill and is a major disappointment coming from a major player in the grill industry. Get the igrill2 or any other product for a better grilling experience.

Hi, We do appreciate the feedback and we are sorry you are having a bad experience. With over time we are working on updates to help improve the device. We have passed this information along and we will reach out to you via email to help you with the weber Connect. Thank you,
Learned about the Weber Connect on the Steve Dahl Podcast. I bought 3, gave one to each of my sons for Christmas and kept one for myself. I used it last Sunday to make duck on my Weber charcoal kettle grill following Kevin Kolman's suggestions and it worked perfectly. I put the ducks on just before kickoff and was able to monitor them while watching the game. Never had to lift the lid until it reached the correct temperature just after the game ended. Much better than regularly checking the temperature with a thermometer and letting the heat escape. Really took the guesswork out. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to "up their grill game."

I set it up as per instructions. Had zero issues . Used it with blue tooth, about 20 ft. Had better range with WiFi. Glad I didn't go by the negative reviews. I grill on my kettle grill 3 times a week and on my pellet grill ever other week.
I have had this since just before Thanksgiving. I bought it in spite of the horrible reviews because I was so happy with the iGrill3. I am glad I did. I have used it for a whole turkey, a whole butterflied chicken and a tri-tip roast. I do a lot of grilling. All three were cooked properly, so the unit works well and the reported temperatures seem to be correct. My barbecue is a long way from the house, so WiFi is a necessity. My prior yard was quite small and the Bluetooth connectivity of the iGrill3 was sufficient. This is a huge plus for for the Grilling Hub. Overall, this is a good unit and the hardware seems to be a solid foundation. However, I found the iGrill3 supporting software to be far better. As a system, the Grilling Hub does not measure up to that high standard. First, setup. I am not sure what the connectivity requirements for the Hub are, but I had quite a few problems with this and the documentation is not clear. It all seemed to work quite well once I fixed my WiFi range. This is obviously not the Hub's fault, but better documentation could have saved me some setup time. Once my WiFi was working, connecting the Hub was easy. This is true even though I do not broadcast my network ID. The software seemed to require a couple of updates out of the box. While most units I buy do require a software update on startup, this unit seemed to need a few updates. I do not remember how many. This was not a major issue, but it should be simplified. Once it was all set up, I have no problem seeing the temperature of the grill and the meat probes on my phone. They are updated frequently and seem to be accurate. Many folks have previously complained about the lack of recipes. I have not used the built-in recipes, yet, so I do not know if that is improved or not. I really miss the iGrill3 historical temperature graph. I could pretty reliably predict completion times with the graph and could also know if I had periods of time where the grill was too hot or not hot enough. Apparently the use of recipes helps with this, but the Hub should be usable for "manual cooking." I really do not want to spend a lot of time prepping the unit to do a simple meal. The iGrill3 had a temperature range for the probes, so I could set a good range (say 315-335) and get audible and visual alerts when it was out of range. This way I could keep food preparation and conversations going without always looking at my phone. The iGrill3 app also loaded an app on my my watch (I am using Apple phone and Apple watch). I could see the temperatures on my wrist without carrying a phone around. This is extremely convenient. The watch app also gives temperature alerts, again, without constantly looking at my phone. This unit only seems to have a single temperature setting per probe and it alerts as the temperature is approached. Good for the meat probes, but not sufficient for the grill temperature probe. The documentation with this device is lacking. I got the "full" manual from the web and it did not provide much more information. It could be that some of the issues I mention above are due to the lack of documentation. Overall, this is a very good unit and would be a great unit with some software improvements. I am very happy with this purchase.

Hello! We are happy to hear you are enjoying your new connect hub. The technology behind the smart hub is ever-evolving. Please contact our support team if you have further questions. We will be glad to help!
I bought this product about a month back and have had a chance to use it a couple of times in my smoker. From reading the reviews it sounds like there were some glitches with the previous software release, however, whatever version is available right now is working as expected. I also love the fact that this unit connects to Bluetooth as well as wifi. This greatly helps when I'm on the other side of the house from my smoker. in the past, other Bluetooth units would lose connection. I was also an owner of the original iGrill unit and I agree that there are some feature differences that the hub doesn't have yet. For me the main item I'd like to see if that temperature graph that the Webber connect software had. Otherwise, this unit works great
My wife purchased this for my birthday in February. I had to wait for it to be released, but was very excited when it arrived. It had a quality feel and looked great. I downloaded the update, charged the unit and set about smoking a brisket. Well the app didn't work. There was no way to keep the app running and the temperature readings were all over the map. So I decided to just rely on the temperature readout on the unit. That also did not give reliable readouts. It differed a great deal from the temperature gauges on my smoker. I wondered what was up. I took an over thermometer from our oven and checked the temperature of the smoker. While it differed slightly from the built in smoker thermometers it was close. The Weber unit read markedly different temperatures and was not consistent at all. I put the unit away, confident that Weber would release new firmware/software to fix the unit. Well it is now October. I have tried to use the unit 4 more times. No new firmware nor software. It does not work. This is a great disappointment. My wife is very upset. She thought she had purchased the best birthday gift. Now all she has is a fancy looking fridge magnet.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
