The Weber Wi-Fi Enabled Connect Smart Grilling Hub introduces an efficient way to monitor the temperature by syncing to the Weber Connect app, so you can conveniently adjust the Connect Hub. The Grilling Hub is capable of working on any grill, so it is not just limited to Weber grills. Comes with one meat probe and one ambient probe to help weather the different conditions, while also capable of having up to four (4) probes in at once. Is easy to charge the Hub with a USB rechargeable battery, and the LED display will let you know when it is done charging. The back of the Connect Hub has an embedded magnet that will attach the device to any magnetic surface. The Weber Connect app features a variety of different grilling programs, step-by-step assistance during grilling, and even alerts the user when it is time to flip the food on the grill.

First use was a whole chicken

No issues setting up and it performed very well. First use was on a whole chicken: the temp readings worked as promised and it turned out well. Cooked perfectly

Still not a great buy

This is the least smart, smart grilling device ever. Not sure why the interface, notifications, temperature setting options, etc are not the same as the igrill offering but the way this device works you might as well not even have an app. It really needs Graphing Temperature ranges Real alerts that work without the app on screen And I'm sure some others I'm forgetting

Great gifts for grillers!

Bought another one as a birthday gift

Loved mine so much I ourchased another one as a gift. My buddy loved it. Works like a champ. He made the best pork roast ever and cites this device as the reason.

The app is poor, even after update

The app is estetically good, but it misses very important function like interval alarms on cooking temperature. In many recipes it is not possible to change target temp and where it is possible you can choose only few predetermined targets. Why iGrill app is much better?

On/Off and Temp Probe Problem

Received this as a Christmas gift. First, the unit does not turn off. I powered the unit after I opened it and then went to use it two weeks later for the first time and the unit as completely dead. Had to recharge and the recharge time is pretty significant, over an hour for full charge. I read that disconnecting the probes should turn it off, also saw on a webpage that if you press for two seconds with the probes out, it turns off. I tried both many times, and the blue tooth connection is still valid, so obviously the unit is not off. Second and more importantly, any slight movement of the probe wires and the probe disconnects. These connections are very loose, and I mean very loose. I hooked it up on my counter and simply staring at it, the temp probe reported disconnect. Maybe this unit has some issues, but for the price, these are not issues that I would expect. I saw another review reporting the same probe issues, so I don't believe this is isolated to my unit.

Starting the system

It works well but sometimes the program is hard to start. You have to go around hitting recipes before it will open up. Once it starts it is marvelous!

Disappointed

Got this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he's been disappointed. The probes come disconnected from the hub if there is any movement whatsoever and the cooking instructions seem to work independently of the temperature monitoring so they aren't accurate

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
