Nuke Delta 40-Inch Argentinian-Style Gaucho Grill - DELTA02

Absolutely love this grill. Solid build, looks great, comes with everything including a durable cover for storage. Super easy to control the heat with the ability to raise or lower the grate as well as being able to move the charcoal/wood under the grate. The only thing I would change is to cut one of the bricks for a tighter fit around the right side grate post. Currently the bricks are cut larger than need to be which allow for ashes to make it into the warning compartment underneath. Luckily they include two extra bricks so we will be able to take care of that small issue. BBQ customer service is the best I have seen anywhere, hands down. I called them to let them know there were some discrepancies with the grill (thermometer glass was cracked and door latch bent) and they stayed on the phone with me until they had pictures and emailed me almost daily until the issue was resolved. Great grill, but arrived with rusted parts, mis matched caster wheels, and the ceramic coated grill grates were on top of each other during shipping and wore off the ceramic coating! Was hoping for better quality.

Extremely pleased with packaging for shipping. Construction is solid, but not of premium materials - no stainless steel. Concern over how long it will last with prolonged cooking and weather exposure - looks like a 3-5 year lifespan hence the 4 stars. Most versatility in heat control of any Argentine grill out there - just slide the coals to the side. If your fire burns down, you just restock from the side brassero (fire box) - no need to lift grate and add raw fuel under your cooking meats (making flames, flare-ups, and harsh smoke). Not for the lazy or easily distracted - cooking on this grill requires a commitment to maintaining the heat and the fuel source. Not a logical transition from a gas grill - go buy a weber instead - this is better suited for an experienced griller who likes to entertain, has some experience, and is not willing to drop $4-8K on a custom stainless steel design with v-grates (BTW - not a fan of v-grate grills; they limit your cooking versatility).

It came really nicely packaged. It needed minimal assembly and it was easy to follow the instructions. Looks great!! But I haven't been able to use it yet. It is too hot in Alabama in July for a wood-burning grill lol.

So happy to have bought it! Finally I can cook in the USA as I did in my native Argentina!

I was wasting money pretty much every other year on grills that needed to be replaced even when i was doing everything to protect it. Finally I will be able to have a Real Argentinian parrillada.

This is a beast of a grill! Brick-lined so keeps radiant heat where you want it. Using firewood (oak and hickory) takes a little while to gather another embers but well worth the time. It is a full immersion cooking experience. Thumps way up to customer service - Nhicole was great! - in answering my questions and helping me. Great follow up and real commitment to customer satisfaction.

This is a fantastic Argentinian style grill. I've researched for a long time for a good charcoal grill and this is the best value around. It is well made, easy to use and a LOT of fun. I love it so much, I'm planning to get a second one for our vacation home. We did have some issues with broken refractory bricks but Nuke and BBQ Guys took care of that right away. I love this grill and we have been doing Argentinian style asados every weekend since the grill arrived.

I've had this grill for approximately six months. I truly enjoy using it. I most often use lump charcoal rather than wood because it is more convenient. with wood you have to let it burn to embers. Either way it is a lot of fun to cook with this grill. Control the heat by raising and lowering the grill or by moving coals under or away from the food. Certainly not as simple turning knob, setting a temperature on an electronic key pad, or even adjusting dampers. Some folks may call it more work, I call it more fun. I can't say every thing that i have cooked on it has been perfect. However, as I have gained more experience and confidence using this grill, foods are near about perfect more often than not. The stuff that comes off this grill is delicious. It isn't hard to clean either, just sweep the ashes out with a whisk broom and wash off the porcelain coated grates.
