If you've been around Argentinian or Uruguayan grills, this design will be familiar. But the basket for the charcoal is so small (forget about firewood), by the time you get enough volume of hot coals, the meat is warm and dry. Too much money on a device that is too poor in functionality. Worst of all, I contacted the distributor (Matthew) to request a fix. His response boiled down to "tough luck"

First the really good. This grill is solid and cooks to perfection and is a true conversation piece. There is a small learning curve. Be aware cooking on this is a process. Get ready to devote a few hours just to get it cook ready. It is fun and quite an immersive experience. The not sterling news is the instructions are useless. Nuke apparently did a couple of small design upgrades to add a handle on both ends and attach the 4 wheels but the instructions reflect the old style as well as how the box attached to the frame. Also one of the bolt holes did not line up but I improvised with a bolt, nut and 2 washes I had in my tool chest. Other than a couple build issues its quite the work of art!

I consider myself knowledgeable when it comes to grills: born in Argentina and grilling from childhood. This product is a summary of the lack of attention to detail our country's exports have: the bricks are hair-thin and break after minimal use. Despite covering the grill from day 1, all metal pieces rust within a short period of time. The grates are flimsy and curved, so they don't make good contact with the grill frame. The handle to change the height of the grill is also poorly built and does a very poor job. I wanted to give it a try but, unfortunately, I have to get rid of it after using it only 4 times. And don't buy the warranty: New Leafs service is beyond awful. After numerous attempts to contact them they offer to see if they make any repair (even after you pay $150) and offer a visiting window of 4 hours, and they need the owner to be present. For my wife and I, full-time workers, it means that they will not be here to do their job. Ouch... BBQGuys provide a wonderful customer service; unfortunately, their help won't prevent you from buying poorly built products.

To say this grill changed my life would be an understatement. Grilling with wood is what men do. Gas grills are for squares. BBQGuys4Life.

Overall, this is a fantastic grill, and we love it. It's a lot of fun to use, and the food that comes out of it is amazing. However, the vinyl cover that comes with the grill begins cracking after a few months of use, and the grill rusts extremely easily (it began rusting due to the cover cracking and its propensity to rust before the end of my first season with it - now on my second season, it's starting to have a significant amount of rust; at the end of last season I sanded and painted the rusted portions with a high temperature paint, I'm going to have to do the entire grill this time around), so be extremely careful in how you store it.

First and foremost this is a grill for the experienced griller. It will do whatever you tell it to do. With the open front design I was able to quickly and easily move the coals around (not the food) to control the heat like never before. That gives you amazing control. The side brasero (fire box) is such a simple yet useful feature. Whatever you use, real wood or charcoal. It provides a place on the side away from the food where you can always have ready to use coals as you need them. Yes, some minor details could have been better...etc. Bottom line. This is not a high-end $3,000, $4,000 or a $5,000+ grill. But it's probably the best value one can get for the price these days. One word of caution. It heats up. The refractory bricks do what they are supposed to do. And they do it well. Aside from that. Great service from BBQGuys. Quick delivery. Purchased late evening on March 22, delivered around 1pm March 26th. That's from down South all the way up to North NJ. Can't complain about that. Great service from R&L Carriers. Examined and took the cardboard off the shipping crate in front of the delivery guy. He patiently waited, Nothing to report, all was good. Plastic unpunctured anywhere. When opened later that day, all was still well. All in all. Love it. This grill will be a great cooking partner for anyone who is not afraid to put in a little work. Very nice to have a rake, shovel and a nice cover for the price as well. Considering shipping costs (included in price) for something that is 311 lbs. This was a very reasonable price in my opinion. Attached pictures are two ribeye bone in steaks, skirt steak (one medium one med rare), Italian sausage (not quite ready for the table just yet) and a lobster tail. Even the lobster tail turned out moist and juicy.

Greatest grill ever. If your not willing to put the time in burning the wood down buy something you can just dump charcoal in. Also does fabulous pizzza.

I had been doing my research on the various types of grills for a long time. I finally decided that the Delta would come the closest to all of my needs. My wife surprised me by buying it for my birthday, it was a great gift but it came with minor damage. BUT the people at bbqguys made everything right. To be honest they went above and beyond in making everything right. I won't buy from anyone else from now on. They were very thorough in making sure the damage pieces were replaced and always prompt in their responses. Regardless of which grill you purchase be confident that you are doing business with a company who will do their best to make sure your getting what you paid for and more. Again the grill is great, but the customer service from BBQguys is superb!
Questions & Answers
HI Jacob. There isn't a vendor that we are aware of that makes rotisserie kits for Nuke Argentinian Grills. However, Tagwood does make Argentinian and Santa Maria grills with a rotisserie option. https://www.bbqguys.com/search?sstring=TAGWOOD&yt39=
Asked by Jacob | Answered by WesleyNo problem at all.
Asked by Jennifer | Answered by augie.hugThe rack underneath, wheels etc does not.get hot. Just the chamber beneath the fire bricks gets warm, but not too hot.You just have to take care not to spill embers etc onto the deck.
Asked by Jennifer | Answered by raynor.jackI would check with your Trex installer as to the tolerances of their product but if you have a fire mat, it should be fine. Care should be taken as to how close this grill is to your house. Get Outlook for iOS< https://aka.ms/o0ukef>
Asked by Jennifer | Answered by michaelhafeleHi Jennifer. Trex is not heat resistant, and so it could possibly pose a safety risk. We highly recommend not using this on wooden or Trex deck, but if you have no choice, we recommend you purchase a heat resistant grill mat.
Asked by Jennifer | Answered by Joey, BBQGuys ExpertHi Austin. No, but it can be removed from the cart.
Asked by Ty | Answered by Joey, BBQGuys ExpertHi Jparri, the bottom drawer is intended for storage use. The Nuke Delta includes a shovel for removing ash, we recommend using a container made of noncombustible material (aluminum, for example) to dispose of the ash once it's cooled.
Asked by Jparri | Answered by RyanI like to start a small fire in the charcoal chimney, just a couple handfuls, then use that as starter for the wood. Works every time and with small amount of charcoal doesn't take long.
Asked by KnoxTiger | Answered by kkosorisI just use any kind of fire starters from the store and some old newspaper under the firewood. Just make sure the wood is really dry. On lazy days I just use charcoal with a charcoal chimney starter. Hope it helps
Asked by KnoxTiger | Answered by babydoc_99You can use some pods that are sold in amazon. That are pure sawdust and wax. No flavor. No odor. Put them under the wood and forget about it.
Asked by KnoxTiger | Answered by wvictorWe use fire starters and lump charcoal to get it going fast
Asked by KnoxTiger | Answered by bradHi Rodrigo. The highest setting is about 7-8 inches above the charcoal bed floor.
Asked by Rodrigo | Answered by JoeyHi Greg. It works great! You can control the amount of heat that reaches your food, and add wood chunks to the coal for flavor.
Asked by Greg | Answered by JoeyHey Tommy! Upon further investigating Nukes website, there is no option for iron grates on this grill. Hope this information helps!
Asked by Tommy | Answered by LukeHi - Unfortunately, we do not sell a v-groove grate for this grill.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
