This is the fourth Traeger I have had and by far the best I have used. Works fantastic and with the use of the app keeps you updated on how the cooking process is going. New
I received this for Christmas. The Wi-Fire wouldn't connect. We did some troubleshooting but nothing worked. We called Traeger support, and they said to get a 2.4G extender. We set it up, and that didn't work either. We use a Netgear Nighthawk that has both 2.4 and 5G. After many hours over 2days, no success. Called the store where we bought it, and they mentioned receiving lots of feedback about wi-fi issues. Chose this over Camp Chef for the quality, but Traeger didn't extend the quality to their wi-fi (my BIL's Camp Chef wi-fi connected with no troubleshooting). Unhappy customer.

Does it work? Yes and very well. But after going back and forth with customer service to get the grill over a long time … then investing in a lot of accessories…I was really disappointed to see rust and seemingly seal failure in the back. Ok, part of the reason for investing was the reputation for customer support and standing behind their product. Whelp, go through their process and just get a deny email from them. No explanation, no phone call. Just an email response. Expected a lot more out of these guys. Well - you lost a customer that was looking forward to upgrading to the next timberline.

Awesome machine. Running it from my phone app is great. Been having fun cooking things I never have before.
Amazing machine with great features very pleased with my purchase.
Get the generation 2 model. They don't make accessories for this like the g2 timberline.
Expect it to rust out and be landfill in 6 yrs. "Rated" for up to 500 degrees - but don't you dare go above it. They will blame the rust on high temperatures - flames happen.

The Traeger has changed our lives! I use it every weekend and usually two weekdays every week. Fix enough for great lunches and leftovers throughout the week. We seldom have cooked inside the past year. I have smoked everything through rain, snow, and sun. We smoked turkey on Thanksgiving and Ham for Christmas. To the negative reviews about wifi, yes there were some issues when we first got the Traeger. Support was great and pushed an update through. Once updated wifi has been rock solid.
Best Smoker/Grill in the market. Great for Pro's or just the average grilled. No flare ups and the app showing temp and time is amazing.
We bought this grill about 3 months ago. It's been nothing but issue after issue. Within the first month we had to replace the control panel. It just died witch resulted in our grill not being able to complete the shut down cycle. It just wouldn't shut off. Cue first fire panic. We managed that scare and Traeger sent a new panel. Now our pellet box is literally catching on fire. Where we not only lose all of our pellets, but have to deal with this HUGE safety issue. Customer services acted like this was ordinary, and recommended we "sift" our pellets before loading them into the grill. This is not recommended or documented anywhere that I have looked, and honestly I'm having a hard time trusting this method. I am so disappointed not only with the grill but with customer service. Don't use your grill if you think you'll have to return it because it literally creates unsafe fires. They told us that because our grill was used it's not their problem. Now we have a grill that I probably won't even use with my fire extinguisher on stand by. It's just not worth it.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
