Exactly as advertised. My new Timberline 850 replaced a propane smoker and I couldn't be more satisfied. Assembly and set up was easy including connection to my internet and phone. The coooking results are fantastic.

It is a great unit especially for the colder areas in climate. Traeger got fancy and created a design flaw for the grease bucket and should have kept it simple. There is a drawer style trap with a cover connecting to the rope seal underneath the grill. Thinking great idea? Not so much. Unless you want grease all over the ground where your grill sits. The rope seal traps all that grease and runs it along the top plate cover spilling it out the sides of the drawer. Take the Top plate off and you will be fine.

I purchased a new Pro 575 last July 2019. Bought the cover & shelf etc. Read the manual and attempted to use. Out of the first half dozen times I attempted to use it, I was successful maybe once. I would set the temperature and ignite. Next thing I know, I come back and it has overheated and is shutting down. If it did pre-heat properly, any adjusting of the temperature during cooking causes another overheat and shutdown. I even a had a fire in the hopper. Eventually I was sent a new control panel which I installed. It seemed to work the first few times but I continue to have problems. Last weekend I decided to try a beef roast. Got the recipe from Traeger and set the temp at 200. Put my roast in and come back to check on it a short time later. Temp is 300. I open the lid to cool it down, give it 15-20 minutes and come back. Now the temp is 150 and going down. It is still set at 200. How in heck do you cook with that. The new control high temp limit is only 450 degrees. In my opinion that does not sear a steak. The first panel had a high limit of 550 degrees. I am very disappointed and beyond mad!

Overall a great grill.. giving four stars due to wifi connectivity being a pain. Also my temp sensor had a short from the factory. The probe would click on and off. Bummed I couldn't give it a 5 star rating, I was really excited for this grill.

As advertised. It cooks great. Plenty space. Brisket, whole chickens, salmon, wings and practically everything I have cooked has turned out great.

Most important thing about this grill is the food comes out great, and with the Wi-Fi app it's practical to use and a lot of fun. The only down side is emptying the wood pellets to change type of wood for different types of food, this is still a bit of a pain to do, hence 4 stars

Had my Timberline 850 less than a week. Smoke some bratwurst over the weekend and they turned out great with a great smoke taste and very juicy. Assembly and set up was very easy and wifi works great. Very happy with the purchase.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
