Got this grill to replace my 20 year old Weber trusty gas grill. I have mixed feelings about this one. Pros: I do like the SS grates, was not expecting to. Grill area size is nice as is the side tables. I also like that the knobs on are on the front vs. the side table... which was the case on my last grill. Cons: Side burner does not adjust low enough to simmer anything. I like to slow cook some items, and the side burner does not allow for this. Also the burners inside are to close to the grates. I have not yet tried the rotisserie, but I can see that the burners are too close for anything but a small bird... chicken, turkey. Grill was missing the wheel covers, which obviously does not impact actual usage, but i wanted them, so I had to call in to C/S and wait for over an hour to get to a real person to request the covers. They did sed them out, but was a bit annoyed that I had to wait on hold for so long.

Hello! Congratulations on your new grill! We are sorry to learn of your disappointment with the side burner. The flame on the side burner has to be able to withstand a 10 mph wind. Because of this standard, there will be little difference in the height of the flame between low and high. Regarding the rotisserie, you will need to remove the cooking grates when using the rotisserie and setting the drip pan right above the Flavorizer Bars. Doing so should provide enough clearance. Thank you!
I Know stainless steel is popular however, it Stains from water droplets or grease droplets. It needs to be polished consistently. God forbid in particularly water droplets should ever dry.. Good Luck on removing as it won't come out.. I suggest some kind of clear coat dressing to protect stainless from the elements..
My son-in-law owns a Genesis natural gas grill. After talking to him and watching it work, I was convinced this was the grill for me. I did choose propane instead of natural gas and a bit smaller version Genesis. I've owned a few gas grills, both inexpensive (cheap) to moderately expensive. This Weber beats them all. It has features I have not seen on other grills. The easy mounting gas tank is one I particularly like. So far, I've made burgers, steaks, chicken, fish, and many veggies on it. Tonight it will be ribs. I love the controls and the even heat this grill gives me. I don't think you could go wrong buying this Weber.
Love this grill!! Easy to use, easy to clean. Heat control is great! Attractive design & color. It's like having a kitchen outside!
This is a good salad grill and I'm glad we spent the money. And the igrill probe makes such a difference! Really takes the guesswork out of grilling, especially chicken. I am delighted.
They sold me a product that was assembled for me. Several parts were broken during assembly but left on the grill. Next, the grill wouldn't ignite even though it was getting gas. It took me 3 days of calling to get tech. support. Then, they shipped me replacement parts but shorted me on what they were supposed to send. More calls to Weber that wen't unanswered. After several days I got through. Even WEBER "didn't know what else to try" to repair my NEW AND NEVER USED grill. They decided to set up an appointment to have a WEBER technician come to my home and investigate and repair. I was told I would receive a call the following day with the APPT. day and time. Three days later I never heard back from WEBER. I loaded up my grill and took it back to the place of purchase. Two days later they called me. They had a WEBER tech come out to repair but he never could get it too work. The hardware store where I purchased from gave me another grill. It works but has several chips in the paint / enamel? hood.

Hello! We are very sorry to hear about your negative experience. We have reached out via email to offer some assistance. Thanks!
So far it has been perfect. Coming from a Weber Q 1200 grill I am still getting use to this one. I have used it probably 20 times so far and have not had any issues.
I truly believe Weber Grills are a superior product
I had a Genesis grill for 10-15 years. We moved to Florida and I decided it was time for a new one. Ended up buying this one on-line. Assembly wasn't too bad, just need to follow directions. The grill itself seems flawless. I have used the 'sear' station a few times, really think it helps seal in the flavor. It seems to have better temperature control than my previous Genesis grill. I am happy I upgraded to the SE (Special Edition) as I think the grilling racks are much better.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
