Customer Reviews
I bought the Genesis II a month ago as the grill for our new place. The grill is beautiful, cleanup is simple and it cooks very evenly. It is pricey compared to most other grills on the market but you definitely get what you pay for. The extra burner for steaks really helps to get a good sear and the side burner is convenient for side dishes. I don't have a pet so the open grease pan is just fine but I wish the extra for the doors wasn't so expensive.
Five years ago I looked at the Weber grills. My wife saw the price of the grill I was looking at, and that was the end of that. Five years later due to my present grill problems, my wife said, "you should buy a Weber"! It's like Christmas every time I use My Weber!!
I bought the grill a little over a month ago and it has never worked at 100% since day 1. My ignite starter only ignites 1 burner and it is not the right burner to even start. I need to ignite that 1 burner and wait for the other 2 to ignite from the fire. When you spend the money and put your faith in a good name like Weber you expect a product that not only is going to last but works at 100% from the start. My grill has never worked at 100% and I fear will not pass the test of time. I called the store that we bought it from and built it and they pushed the responsibility to Weber. When my wife called Weber we got some bogus troubleshooting directions to fix the issue. As stated earlier, I don't want to be fixing or troubleshooting a brand new product that was expensive with a name like Weber. I feel like we got sold a lemon and would love for Weber to stand by their name and product and help us out. I strategically didn't buy a cheaper grill to avoid these issues and here I am. Please help me with my situation. I believe Weber can fix this for us and have hope they will! I would love to write a better review and look forward to a follow up stating how Weber fixed this for my family.
This is the finest grilling tool I have ever used. If you are on the fence due to price, just know that it is worth much more than they charge. The burners are perfect, everything is well designed and just works.
This replaced a $2400 grill and outshines it in every feature. The searing grate is fabulous and my food cooks faster than it did on the old 6 burner grill. Glad I went back to Weber after 20 years. Quality construction and easy to use. Love it.
Much better than my old grill, really love the grease trap and easy clean up, the searing feature is good add. Not sure if price is justified time will tell.
Awesome grill, pricey but worth it. I am using it 2-3 times a week, really happy with it.
Exactly what I expected. Heats up quickly with even heat over the whole cooking area.
We replaced a Kitchen Aid with a separate searing burner. It was messy searing a steak and then transferring to the main area to finish. This works much better. Overall the grill design feels clean. Cleaning the grease drippings is easy and accessible. The open shelf with the tank to the side is much more useful than doors with a tank inside. It is easier to access and change the tank. It is a nice size. We grill vegetables using two large cookie sheets at a time, too. The igniters appear to be better protected from drippings and hopefully longer lived.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
