There should be different model numbers for the propane and natural gas versions.
Nice grill. I love the copper color - it brings it up a level. The lid is HEAVY and seems well made. I bought it already assembled. I added GrilGrates as the cooking surface and this has made a great grill even better. Weber should consider designing a better grilling surface to prevent flareups.

I bought the Weber Genesis II about 6 months ago. Started off great. Within a month flareups started occurring. I cleaned the grill plates, I cleaned off the flavorizer bars, and that did not resolve the problem. I adjusted my with different settings. Nothing would resolve this. When I compare this model to my old weber of 15 years, I noticed that the distance between the grill plates and the flavorizer bars is about half of what it was in my old weber. My old weber would flare up a bit but would never burn my food. My new weber flares up about the same as my old weber, but burns everything. THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW. I'm not sure what can be done, but I've been a die hard Weber advocate for over 20 years. This is not ok. Weber, you need to fix this and do something better than just replacing parts!

Hello! We would be happy to help you with this. Flare ups are a byproduct of grilling over live fire. The drippings falling down create the flare ups. While they can never be eliminated completely, below are some steps for reducing them: 1. Cleaning your grill. I recommend cleaning your cooking grates, Flavorizer bars, burner tubes, heat deflectors (if applicable), the inside of your cookbox, and your slide out grease tray. 2. If using a marinade, get as much excess liquid off as possible before putting the food on the grill. 3. If using a sauce, wait until the last 5-10 minutes to apply. If you have any other questions please reach out to our support team. Thanks and happy grilling!
Weber is the only way to go. Quality heat disbursement and just look at it

Very lmpressed with grill, everything Is as described, love the grill, beautiful.
Best grill ive had , its larger then I thought but that is a great thing.

Best grill I have ever used. Hands down. I grew up in a house that bought cheap grills that lasted 1-2 years before they turned to rust and you were forced to buy another. Those cheap grills were thin, poorly made, and had crazy uneven cooking surfaces and temps. By the end of its first use I was blown away by the quality of this grill. Everything comes off looking movie quality delicious. Grill surface heats evenly across all the grates. Putting it together on the first day I could tell this was going to be a forever grill. Strong thick sturdy materials, easy to follow directions. This was well worth the investment. I am completely sold on the Weber brand. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to step up their grill game. Cheers!

I can't even sear a steak on this grill on high. It's a real disappointment. I live in California, keep it out of the rain...and it rusts easily. All and all -- it works to cook, but not sear.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
