I have owned this grill for a little over 1 and 1/2 years. I was looking for a totally 100% stainless steel grill which I was willing to pay for. The Lynx grill stainless steel construction is beautiful, but in my opinion the burners, igniter and even the regulator are poorly designed. I had to replace the regulator within the first 6 months. 2 of the 3 igniters now do not work (one burner is even difficult to get to light manually) and the lights sometimes works and sometimes do not. Poor construction of the components although I am pleased with the stainless steel. I would rather have a rusty grill that is reliable than one that I am fussing with while I am having a party which I have to plan for now. The grill is a gas pig also. I would not recommend this unless you go for hooking it up to natural gas. Also a big problem is with the ceramic burner design. They sometime light and sound like a jet which is acknowledged in the manual and you need to shut it down and restart two or three times (probably why the poor igniters wear out so quick). I am an engineer with an expertise in combustion and I pretty sure I know how to fix this (it is a simple fix) if Lynx would like to pay me to consult and fix their poor design ; )

i wanted a grill that had the highest heat for cooking steaks and love the ceramic burners that dont need replacing ever and the one infrared burner is the ultimate for cooking the seared super rare steak. only negative is the price is high and i have after 2 years needing to have the igniters replaced (just emailed them - we will see how good the warranty service is!). Great like a super indoor stove like my Wolf range. i was sick of cheap grills and though this is much more it is what i wanted.

The micro switch ignition system is flawed. Don't buy this grill unless you want to use a hand held lighter to fire it up. Also, it fails to achieve the temperature claimed. There has to be better grills for this amount of money. Don't buy the hype on this one.

Hi Greg. Lynx has redesigned their freestanding grills so the heads are now removeable from the carts. It is a matter of removing a few screws then sliding the grill head off.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
