Had the mini but wanted the capability to obtain temperature at more than one point and also a more accurate grill temperature. The igrill2 handles all my needs and works great.

Needed to take the guess work out of grilling large cuts of meat. This product put the temperature of the meat in the palm of my hands using the free app. Great product!

I've used a few different grill thermometers (the iDevices iGrill 7685-IGLK, this iGrill2 and a handheld)... the bluetooth units all have the same problem. The range is generally terrible and this iGrill 2 is no different. Our grill is right out the back door. if I'm in the kitchen max 20' away, its constantly trying to reconnect. The unit itself is good, no real complaints. however the BT is typical... bad... lol My biggest complaint is the app you use for this unit, its basically terrible. There are so many adjustments I would like to make, but I can't. Its just annoying. Thankfully the unit itself is nice.

I've owned the iGrill 2 for about 2.5-3 years. Every year probes fail. The Bluetooth range is short. Just recently 2 of the inputs failed. They display temperatures greater than 200 degrees initially, then they quickly drop to below zero, displaying a "-dc". I called customer service and they indicated that internally something has gone bad. He also indicated that the warranty is 2 years...too bad, so sad. Time to look at other options...

I have had the iGrill 2 for about 6 months and I like it, but the range of the bluetooth is not that great. If it could use actual wifi that would be awesome. The app you have to use is ok I should be able to set done temp myself and not have to use the preset done temp.

I've used the igrill 2 a few times and love it. I can measure the temp of my smoker and 3 meats of I had the room. Or I can measure two spots on a large smoker to make sure the temps are even across the smoker and still measure the temp of two meats. My only complaint mirrors several other reviewers on here. The range or strength of the Bluetooth could be improved. If I'm outside I can get a single all over my property. But if I'm inside our house and try to go upstairs to our family room to watch tv I lose signal. I could always try and move the smoker closer so the signal might get better but since the signal still has to go through walls it might work.

The basic feature of the iGrill 2 is to provide a constant feed back to my iPhone. This is does very well however, if I move more than 20 ft from the grill signal is lost. I contacted the iGrill team and after being forced to send them a video of lack of distance coverage, they sent me a replacement. The range is the same. So if you expect to be able to go inside and do other cooking stuff forget about it as you will loose signal. Its very disappointing not to be able to un-teather so I leave my iPhone outside and just go back and forth. With todays technology the wireless system, line of site so be a least 100 feet. PS I sold wireless systems to the NSA and I really know about wireless products. I could just take my temperature prob outside and accomplish the same thing.

Purchased this and as a "LOYAL" Gasser and Charcoal Weber Fan. I cannot recommend this product like the rest of the quality products Weber makes. The only other issue I have had with a Weber product was pitting with my Limited Edition. Customer Service is WORLD CLASS! Took care of the issue immediately. I dont think anything is wrong with my I-Grill, I just think it is a poor design. It is actually very frustrating.

To help extend the Bluetooth range on your iGrill 2, we recommend a total device reset. - Remove the batteries for 30 seconds - Insert the batteries and press the reset button - Head to your phone's Bluetooth settings, locate your iGrill 2 in the list, and either "Unpair" or "Forget this device" - Restart your phone - Open the app and pair

It seems to work pretty well as far as tracking temperatures. If you wanna stand 3 feet from your grill! The Bluetooth is TERRIBLE, will disconnect when you're 10 away!

I got this just in time for a brisket smoke on a kettle. This took all the guess work out. Ambient probe is much more accurate than the lid thermometer. I stayed in the AC 30-40 feet away and never lost contact. When I left home and came back it reconnected immediately no issues. I highly recommend this for people who like to grill!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
