Take Your Wood-Fired Cooking to the Next Level with Traeger Pro 22
With more precise temperature control, rugged all-terrain wheels and a stronger body, the Pro Series pellet grill can tackle any grilling challenge. The Pro series 22 pellet grill is constructed with a stamped bronze lid, powder coated steel, and boasts 20,000 BTUs of cooking power.
Small Footprint, Big Grilling Surface
The main grill grate is 22 X 19 inches of porcelain-coated grilling surface accompanied by a 22 X 7-inch extra grill rack for a total grilling area of 572 square inches, letting you cook a full meal all at one time.
The Pro 22 Does it All: Low & Slow or Searing Hot
The versatility of the Series 22 pellet grill allows you to smoke at temperatures as low as 180 degrees and then crank it up to 450 degrees to sear to perfection. The natural airflow inside of the grill allows for convection cooking, so you can bake a pizza right on your grill and do not have to turn your meat, unless cooking with high temperatures or if you want even grill marks.
Keep Track with the Digital Pro Controller
The Digital Pro controller displays the temperature inside the grill on the bright blue LED panel and is monitored by a resistance temperature detector (RTD) probe which takes 60 readings per minute to maintain the preset temperatures within 15 degrees. Dual meat probe capability gives you perfect temperature readings on two items at once while grilling.
Easy to Start, Safe to Use
Traeger grills feature an auto-start system that is simple and safe to use. The natural airflow inside of the grill allows for convection cooking, so you can bake a pizza right on your grill or slow smoke a large brisket. Turning and flipping different kinds of meat will be necessary at high temperatures.
Efficient Pellet Consumption
When you turn on the grill, the auger begins to feed pellets into the firepot while the draft induction fan feeds air into it. The igniter rod is activated and glows red hot for the first four minutes to ignite the pellets in the firepot. These cost-effective pellets burn at a rate of only 2 lbs per hour on high heat, 1 lb per hour on medium heat, and only 1/2 lb per hour when smoking. The Pro series also adds a clean-out to the hopper, allowing you to quickly change the smoke flavor of the pellets while grilling.

JUST LOVE MY TRAEGER WAS VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND DID A PORKLOIN OVER THE WEEKEND ON APPLE PELLETS WITH COFFEE RUB AND IT WAS A HIT AT THE DINNER TABLE.
We absolutely love our Traeger! We have tried 5 of the pellet types love them all: Alder Cherry Oak Hickory and Pecan. Also we have tried plenty of recipes you've provided through the cookbook that came with the Traeger and online which is so helpful with so many choices and variety of foods! We love every recipe we've made ! The Bencivenga Family
Having the best time cooking on my Pro22 !! We have "Traegered"? pizza wings breakfast fatty jalape??o poppers grilled veggies and even chocolate chip cookies!!!! My 4 sons and I have decided it will only be a Traeger grill in our homes from now on. Each of us have our "specialty"? dish we cook and have the next couple of months worth weekends planned out.
We had our last Traeger for almost 24 years. It got the point where we couldn't get parts for it due to it's age. After having a pellet bbq for that length of time we just had to have another one. Unfortunately we got talked into buying a Green Mountain Grill instead. We loved it for 6 months then we started having troubles with it. The service from GMG sucked to put it bluntly. We ended up junking the unit. We are now back with Traeger and we couldn't be happier. The Pro22 is smaller than our old Traeger but it cooks just as well. It's solidly built and hopefully it will last 24 years like our first one.
Heaven I have only been able to get out and cook 3 times since I got it due to 24 inches of snow. I have been chomping at the bit to get out and cook some brisket. It is my new best friend. As soon as it thaws watch out meat her I come. Love it thanks for making something that I can use to give my food flavor beyond anything I could believe. I don't think I will eat our any more. Signed YUM!! YUM!!
After 8 years of mastering my little Tex I decided that it was time to retire it. A new fan would have kept it going for many more years I'm sure but since it was outdoors all those years uncovered it was showing its age even though it continued to produce outstanding smoked meats. That said I decided to step up a notch and decided on the pro22. Wasn't a hard decision since the pro22 has a bigger grill duel thermometer probes more stable stand and the shut down cycle. Three smokes into my new smoker and I cannot be happier. Outstanding results on Traeger over the years and the feedback from anyone who has had the opportunity to sample my brand of smoked or grilled meats wants to know how I can produce a flavor better than they have ever had before. I am the master of my grill/smoker. Not bragging but when you are the best it's hard to be humble. Will always be a Traeger smoker.
We cooked for the first time on our Pro 22 smoker/grill tonight. I won the grill by buying raffle tickets from my grandson . His ball team sold tickets to raise money for uniforms. I was the lucky winner and was so thrilled. We love it and have been planning more meals on it. It is so easy to use. The food was wonderful !! I can't wait to try all sorts of foods on it.
Hi I just want everyone to know if your thinking about getting a smoker/grill you need not look any further. I own 2 of the 22 pro series and one tailgater. So you can say I am very impressed with these I actually purchased the tailgater first for myself and the sales man said that my husband was going to love me I told him I bought for me not him. I really love mine I have had one for 4 years now and I love it I would never go back to a regular grill or smoker I have friends and family always wanting me to smoke stuff for parties and such and I usually do because you can never go wrong with one of these and the recipes are wonderful. So this is the one for you to own the only reason I have three is I have won the last 2 and I use them all. LOVE THE TRAEGER GRILLS.
I received this for Christmas this year (2017). I actually bought it for myself and the wife wrapped it. The grill was easy to assemble and like others have said shipped fast. I can't believe how well they package the grill and its components to be safe during shipping. It took me longer to unbox unwrap and unbag the grill and components than it did to assemble it. I was so excited. I followed the instructions did my first 'burn' of the grill and couldn't wait to actually cook on it. Having switched from my gas Weber I didn't really know what to expect. While cooking my first couple of cheap steaks I was ready to throw the Traeger off the deck and I was yelling to my wife that I wasted a lot of money. Then when the steaks were finally done I couldn't believe how well they tasted. I cooked on my Traeger for 6 nights in a row after the first cook and I can honestly tell you its easy produces the most amazing food and I now LOVE my Traeger. Please understand this. This is not a gas grill. It takes about 20-30 minutes to come to heat before cooking. Once you allow it to come to temp the cooking time is no different than a charcoal or gas grill. Buy one today! You will not regret it! I love my Traeger so much I am considering selling a very expensive electric smoker my gas Weber Genesis and my charcoal Weber.
I have been using my Traeger for a week now and am loving the simplicity and deliciousness that comes with it. Gone are the days of hovering over my grill and awaiting a flare up to compromise my flesh/dinner. I suppose now I need to only focus on hydration with my favorite brew and making sure my playlist are on point. These things are KILLER!!!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.

30-Day Returns
Return all new, unused, and unassembled items in their original packaging, and we'll give you a full refund minus the cost of the original AND return shipping.
No Restocking Fee
Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.
