The response from Traeger is not v helpful. They didn't even read what I wrote. I replaced the RTD and the temperatures were still not accurate. So I put a controller from my other Traeger into the Traeger that was not working correctly and it worked fine. So that proves that the cheap controller that came in my Lil tex is problematic.

I have had my Traeger Texas Grill for many years now and I keep going through temperature probes and controllers, the longevity of these parts is not what I would expect from Traeger. They are clearly a problem, I think it's time for a reengineer of the controller and, especially the thermostats, to increase durability and longevity.

I have had my grill for 5 years! Every time I decide to do something that takes 12 hours to cook. The grill shuts down after an hour or the temperature fluctuates 100 degrees. Today I have a 15 lb brisket on it and it has shut down three times in the first three hours. If I call I'm sure I will have to answer 20 questions. Then I will have to replace the controller for the 4th or 5th time. So done with this grill and brand.

Since I can't email you a question, can someone tell me if this will work on my older BBQ075. I've had temp swings and the temp on the traeger is about 20 degrees lower that temp in the smoker.

I called in on a Sunday about a new control board. First of all, I was so pleased that I got to speak to real person. Second, they don't make my control board anymore but have a better replacement part than what I have. The wonderful lady who answered the phone gave me the replacement part number in no time. My phone call lasted 5 minutes and I was given a solution. Live my Traeger and people who stand by it. Thank you!!!!

The grill functions and works. But my LED display went bad out of the box. Overall a good grill would recommend. Just can't see the temperature.

Thermostat problem. After only one year I have a problem with the thermostat temperature goes up and down most times it don't work at all I'm not happy with buying a new part after only one year when I paid so much for this grill if I have to buy a thermostat every year that's too much I will be looking for some other grill it's not worth the money at that point

The Traeger works just fine but the thermostat problem needs to be fixed! I read on your site how easy it is to replace the thermostat, and it is. But has anyone at Traeger ever tried to figure out why these circuit boards are failing so often??? I have had my Traeger for about 4 years and have gone through 3 circuit boards. The last time I called customer service the guy was so rude and told me there was nothing they could do because it was one month out of warrantee. He kept trying to tell me it couldn't be the circuit board, although I was holding the board with a hole burned trough it.. With all the choices out there now, Traeger will not be on my shopping list anytime soon.

This is the first time I've had to replace anything on this since original purchase 5+ years ago. Had to replace the existing Digital Thermostat (which allowed P setting adjustments) with this NEW Digital Thermostat which does not give you ability to adjust P setting. The new one functions ok, but I am experiencing temperature swings of more than 50 degrees no matter what temperature I set it at. My Traeger is working again so that's great, but the extreme fluctuations in temperature are frustrating.

My grill started tripping the GFI on my plugs, so I found a quick video that outlined how to troubleshoot the issue. Based on that assessment , I needed a new thermostat. Traeger got it to me quickly and it was a piece of cake to install the new part. Back in business for summer smoking and grilling!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
