Parts didn't work and grill won't operate! Grill has been a continuous problem since I got it over three years ago. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and won't buy another one!

Replaced the auger motor, the temperature probe, and the digital controller on an old Traeger. All went smoothly and work perfectly! The videos on you tube were a significant help.

Replacing the controller seemed to make all the difference. Our grill is working correctly again, and we are glad to not have to replace it. Using the genuine Traeger parts will hopefully keep the grill working for years to come.

So it turned out that this controller lasted 7 years everyday of it outside (under a cover) in the southern Arizona heat and cold. I'mpleased with the life I got out of it. More importantly, the tech support, once I got hold of'm (don't call on the weekend) were beyond compare. They walked me through video- call supported diagnostics and recommended a solution that turned out to be effective. Truly have never seen better customer support. I'm now again a happy Traeger user/owner/advocate! Rock on, Smokers!

After 11 years of owning my Traeger Texas-Elite Grill, I had loved it so much that several years ago I updated it with the "Stainless Steel upgrade kit" which replaced the Pellet Hopper lid and the Main Lid plus the Stack Deflector Cap with all stainless steel parts. I even added the "Cold Smoker" to the right side of my grill which is totally awesome!! Now, after using it virtually 2-3 times per week, I had to replace the "Hot Rod" igniter and the little firebox that ignites the pellets, the updraft fan and the Digital Controller which also came with the "Temperature Sensor Kit". This upgrade actually improved the performance over the older controller; I love it!! Last Super Bowl Sunday, I smoked Baby Back Ribs in the Cold Smoker chamber for nearly 13 hours after doing a dry rub the night prior. Then I transferred them to the Main Chamber and cooked them at 350 degrees and mopped Traeger Texas Spicy sauce on them for a couple hours. My guests considered them the best they have tasted.

Fixed my problem with my Traeger. I was having an issue where after 15 minutes or so the controller would not really control temperature well and kept blinking and making a "clunk" sound. This did the trick. Reserved one star for the quality of the instructions that came with it. Could be better, but wasn't too bad either.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
