I just wanted to say that the side burner that I got is no good. I did a claim and I was sent replacement igniters, but I had to pay to have the igniters installed by a technician. That does not seem fair or right to me. The unit was new right out of the box and was not working. Any questions please ask me here and I will answer. Again, the burner was new, it was removed from the box in front of me, I watched the entire install, it was not damaged, no dents or dings. Beware if you make this purchase. Have it installed right away because the warranty clock is ticking.

So far this burner has exceeded my expectations. It's hot. Plenty hot to cook my fried rice in a way that makes Uncle Roger happy. In fact I don't run the outer burner on high with my 14" wok. For boiling stock pots it's also great. Haven't tried simmering anything but I expect it to do well there too as the flame goes pretty low. I've found it really easy to clean. The area under the burner is wide open to the drip tray and that's easy to clean. Only negative so far is that it's so hot the stainless grate, specifically the wok insert gets Glowing red hot on high. It's very thick metal so I expect it to last many years but know getting that hot is hard on metal.

We have a professional gas range top in our indoor kitchen. It has 18,000 BTU'S per burner so I had never woked anything with this much firepower. One word: WOW! We installed this in August of 2019 and I've used it a lot since then. It is by far the best way to cook with high heat. My kitchen stays clean and doesn't fill with smoke and the finish on your food is absolutely professional all the way. I have also used this burner to simmer marinara for many hours (on its lowest setting) so as not to heat up the house. If you're woking chicken, for example, your wok is very stable due to the wok ring and your stir fry is completely done in 4-6 minutes, depending on volume. Veggies take two minutes. No regrets and I recommend it to anyone who asks.

I purchased this and installed in outdoor kitchen in Sept 2018, has been an amazing purchase - truly a game changer for deep fried turkey, low country boil, fried chicken, you name it! Hightly recommended.

I purchased the professional grill which has hexagonal grill grates. I wanted that for better sear marks. That grill has red lights on the knobs so I got the professional side burner to match. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
