Grill in very good. The 2 burners put it a class by itself. Comes up to temp quickly. Got to 500 degrees plus in about 5-7 minutes. Seems to do really well at high temps. To keep the temps low requires effort. Opening the lid frequently to cool things down. Or just use one burner only. Really like the hose & regulator so I can use a big propane tank.

That it's flexible, direct and indirect grilling, can do low and very hot temperatures, is small and "big enough", has the best cast iron surfaces, is movable and easy to use looks great and makes grilling easy!

For the record, I have a Prestige 500 gas grill which is the most awesome gas cooking machine you can buy! As for this TravelQ… it is a three star grill. Cooks just fine but is a mess to keep clean and ready for the next meal. There is no internal drip assembly under or around the burners to catch rendered drippings and keep the grill clean. All drippings simply fall into the bottom and drip into a small collection pan. Most all drippings never make it into the collection pan… for this reason it's not a buy in my book.

Purchased the TravelQ™ PRO285 3 seasons ago for camping. Exceptional quality as all Napoleon products. It preforms as well as my Prestige 500 RB. Heats up to searing temperature and allows for in-direct cooking with the 2 burner design. Easy to clean and maintain. Love it!!

Bought this grill to use when travelling with my RV. It's well constructed and works well. Definitely gets hot enough for searing. No issues with overdone meat unless I mess up on the cooking. Grilled vegetables work fine. I also will put vegetables into a small, baking pan and do them that way. I have a small cast iron smoker box. Initially I put it directly on the burner on low but that was too hot. Now I put it on the grill grate with the burner on low and it works perfectly. Chips will last for 2 1/2 to 3 hours and just put a kiss of smoke into the meat, with a nice little smoke ring.

I use my Travel Q Pro285 for quick meals and love it for that. I have cooked a whole 5 pound chicken on a roasting pan which turned out great. The 2 burners add lots of cooking options.

Bought this portable BBQ last fall but didnt set it up for use until early spring. Was looking for a convenient off-season BBQ for my balcony, and this was the perfect solution. Comes fully assembled and well packaged. Hook up the gas line and its ready to go. Plenty of heat for searing, roasting or slow cooking. Grills clean up nicely. Great to be able to BBQ on my protected balcony in early spring and late fall. May just end up using it all year long.

I bought this grill mostly for some steaks and grilled vegetables. I find it not hot enough for steaks if lid is open, but with closed lid steaks get over cooked. For vegetables with closed lid is perfect. Just now tried to smoke some ribs, but unfortunately min temperature on one burner, second is turned off, is 150C/290F. For smoking 110C is max.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
