I purchased this heater approximately four years ago and it has never worked for more than four months at a time. There is essentially no customer support and finding replacement parts is borderline impossible. I will never purchase a product from Lynx ever again.

Be wary of Lynx - I spent over $10,000 on outdoor heaters around COVID. Ordered 4 of their 48" outdoor gas heaters for my patio remodel and 1 has been an issue since I received it. I'm officially out of the warranty period and despite numerous calls to fix the same heater, they are making me pay for the fix despite it not being fixed on prior calls. I'm very disappointed by the customer care - only 1 heater is giving me an issue and they are offering me just a 30% discount on any parts needed to be fixed (so pay 70% for the parts and any labor costs). For this reason, I would advise looking at alternate manufacturers for your outdoor needs - Blaze has been amazing with their grills and outdoor refrigerators. I thought Lynx was high-end, but their customer care is not. You may be stuck with the same issue.

This product was on back order for like 4 months, but when I finally got it it had the wrong parts (machine screws to hold bracket together were too small, fixed by getting longer ones from hardware store, plus the DC adapter was the wrong one) and broken parts (the wireless wall switch). I got it mounted after a trip to the hardware store and added batteries to it to get it to light. Luckily it came with 2 remotes since one was broken and when I got it to start up, it shut off after 30 minutes. And when it shuts off the flames lick out to the side, partially melting the battery box. I contacted customer support who sent me a new wall switch but apparently the DC adapter is on back order. I was told the wiring inside it was wrong and to swap some wires around, but it made no difference. Still shuts down after 30 minutes. Now I can't get customer support to respond. I'd prefer to just have a working heater but this one is more trouble than it's worth! Look for other options - the quality is not there in this heater.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
