Great experience. Grill showed up with superb packing and 95 % together. It was a pleasure finishing up putting together. I was and still excited to cook on . Such quality and thought put in ti building
Big Price- Big Let Down! For a BBQ that is only 3 years old and has been minimally used, I am not happy with the way it is wearing. The handles to the cabinet below are pitted with the light silver veneer beginning to flake off. The interior manifold is causing problems with the amount of gas that flows to the burners. The flavor bar is beginning to rust. but will not be replaced unless it has holes in it or broken in half. None of these issues are covered by warranty. I could have bought a Charbroil for a lot less and dealt with probably fewer problems. Thanks for asking though...

Thank you for your feedback. Your grill should be able to reach the same high temperature we expect from all of our grills, at least 450 F. If your grill is not getting that hot, we would suggest starting by double-checking your current gas pressure. The gas pressure provided to the grill is of the utmost importance, it affects the performance of the burner tube(s). Here is a helpful link that provides step-by-step instructions on troubleshooting for "bypass": https://consumer-care.weber.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023605032-How-hot-should-my-gas-grill-get- We would like to hear more about this experience and go over the warranty with you, seeing that the grill is still within warranty. Please lookout for an email from our Support team.
Bought this grill for my husband and he loves it! Having the built in gas line is an added bonus for us.

We had called prior to purchasing the summit asking is there is room under the cabinet for the tank and was told yes. Had a custom kitchen built and the tank is on the outside of the grill, thankfully I had purchased a 30" cabinet to go next to the grill, where we have to store the tank. Also I am missing a part for the igniter and will have to request. It's a beautiful unit and look forward to many years of enjoyment.
Overall, the grill is solid, but its difficult to find parts. For example, I need a new cover for my Summit S-660, but I can't find it online and its nearly impossible to contact someone at Weber to find out where I can go to purchase one. If you are paying this much for a grill, you must be able to find parts and should have access to good customer service, which has not been the case.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry to learn about your experience with customer service and not being able to find the cover for your grill. We are happy to help. The cover is part number #30174499. Our Support team is reaching out to assist you further. Thank you!
I purchased this grill in 2015. Flavororizer bars rusted out, along with grills. Manifold had to be replaced twice. Now the cook box rusted out. See attached photos. This is a built in grill.....replacing the cook box is going to painful. Its my opinion that Weber attention to quality is no longer what it once was.

We bought the natural gas version of this grill 10 years ago when we were having our house built. I needed to ensure the builders built the outdoor kitchen grill cutout to the correct dimensions of whichever grill I wanted. We use the grill year round - numerous times per week. In the 10 years we've had it, I replaced the flavorizer bars twice - they tended to get a yellow haze on them and we weren't great at cleaning them as much as we should have. The only other thing I had to replace were a couple of the knobs. We really only needed to replace one about 2 years ago, but figured I might as well replace a few others that were looking pretty worn. I think if we would've cleaned the bars more often, it would probably keep going, but the grease build up is causing super high flames and we're ready for a nice new shiny one. I actually think the installer wants to keep the old one due to the good condition. One thing to keep in mind, the cutout dimensions aren't the same as many other grills, so plan on replacing with a similar size grill when the time comes. Thankfully I wouldn't want any other replacement, so it wasn't a problem for us. I highly recommend this grill! (Hopefully the new one lasts just as long!)

I have only had this Summit grill for about 3 months, but really love the way it works. It gets very hot so quickly. I grill about 4-5 times a week and really appreciate being able to cook quickly. I have had other grills before but Weber grills seem to get hotter and heat faster than the other brands. Weber also stands behind their grills. I have had some rust through issues with a Genesis grill that I had prior. But, I registered it and made a warranty claim. Weber was great and sent replacement parts right away at no cost to me. That's part of the reason I keep buying Webers. I really don't think another brand would hold up better and who knows if they would stand behind their grills.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
