Insulated grill jackets are stainless steel buffers installed between your built-in grill and the island itself. They shield structures and appliances from the excessive heat of cooking, resist warping damage, and shrink the risk of surrounding material combustion. Always choose the precise grill jacket for your built-in grill.
If combustible materials are present within the clearances of your built-in grill, an insulated grill jacket is required. If no combustible materials are present within these clearances, an insulated grill jacket is not required. Some brands don't require this — refer specifically to each brand for further information.
