Bromic Heating leads the market in supplying your outdoor patio with radiant heaters that demonstrate outstanding performance and unbeatable quality. The Platinum Smart-Heat patio heater is the premier electric heater available on the market. With a 2300 Watt (7,900 BTU) output, the heater can heat a 64 square feet area quickly and efficiently. It has multiple mounting options, so it can be attached to the wall, ceiling, or even recessed. Its wafer-thin 2-inch low profile makes it highly wind resistant, and its sealed case makes its weather resistance excellent. The included bracket allows for 60 degrees of motion so you can direct the heat where you want it. The tinted glass cover allows the heat to get through but subdues the light, letting the heater emit a soft red glow instead of the harsh orange glare found on lesser infrared heaters. The stainless steel construction makes it perfect for residential and commercial installations. The Platinum Electric heater can be controlled via simple wall switch, or wirelessly with the optional wireless controller or wireless dimmer controller. This heater uses 240V AC current and must be hard-wired by a licensed electrician. Please consult a licensed electrician to determine suitability for purpose.

Things We Love:
Bromic Platinum Smart-Heat series electric infrared patio heaters are made with both function and design in mind. While their thin build provides wind resistance, it also allows the heater to seamlessly blend into any outdoor space. Additionally, the unit’s tinted glass cover lets heat escape but traps most of the accompanying light, creating a soft orange glow that won’t disrupt the carefully crafted ambiance of your patio.
Whether you pick the 33 or 50-inch model, these heaters will bring a contemporary look to your outdoor area. They’re also available in a black or white finish, so you can select the size and color you need to bring the best out of your patio plans.
Versatile Mounting Options
In addition to their sleek design, Bromic Platinum electric heaters can be positioned virtually anywhere. Bromic offers a wide range of accessories to mount heaters on walls or ceilings, saving precious floor space so you can maximize your outdoor area and enabling you to direct heat exactly where you need it.
Ceiling mount poles range from small 9-inch models to super-sized 41-inch options, giving you much-needed flexibility when it comes to heating your outdoor space. Should your area have a low ceiling, there’s also a Platinum electric series recessed mounting kit to help you easily mount your heater. With these accessories, you can strategically place your patio heaters out of sight but close enough to keep your guests warm year-round.
The most basic among them is the On/Off switch accessory that lets you activate or power down your heaters within a 100-foot range. This appliance includes a four-channel remote that can link to an infinite number of On/Off controllers inside the 100-foot range, allowing you to command multiple heaters with one simple device.
For those seeking an even more customizable heating experience, Bromic’s wireless dimmer controller is an excellent solution. While the remote presets for 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% power across multiple heaters are convenient, you can also adjust the output of your heaters in 1% increments to find the exact temperature needed to properly heat your outdoor space. These devices can be used in conjunction with a 42-channel remote control, which can manage up to six heat zones and is perfect for commercial spaces.

Questions & Answers (2)Back to Top
Can this heater be used in an outdoor patio that has a vinyl ceiling? It would be mounted on a crossbeam. I was going to install two of them one for each side of my covered patio.
Was This Helpful?
Hi, Don. As long as they are mounted in accordance with the clearances to combustibles, they will be fine.
Hello Marc, We were discussing the purchase of a propane fueled patio heater, but I thought we should consider an electric version, that could be mounted on an outside wall. The position of the wall to the table, and gathering area is about 10 feet. I like the idea of getting it up and out of the way. Any thoughts? Leonard MacEachern
Was This Helpful?
Hey Leonard! As long as the minimum safety distance of 39.4” is left in front of the appliance, you will be good. That information can also be found in the products manual. Hope this information helps!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.

So, why are some orders being affected? Major ports around the world are still operating at reduced capacity because of COVID-19 restrictions — on average, container boats sit at port for about 3 weeks before being unloaded. Combine these shipping inefficiencies with a scarcity of natural resources, and virtually every industry has been crippled to some degree. Yet we acknowledge that it’s our duty to meet these challenges head-on and work toward solutions so you can enjoy more time outdoors with the people you love. We appreciate your patience as we strive to smooth out our supply chain, and we thank you for choosing us for your grilling and outdoor living needs.
