Perfect for us!
We bought this a few weeks ago and are very pleased. We own a larger Weber BBQ and loved it but it is too large for our new balcony. This model is compact but delivers! Love it's look and my husband enjoys grilling on it. Handles a good amount of food, and easy to control the temperature. Perfect choice for us seniors that have downsized!

Hooked on Weber
We had the older version of this grill for nearly 15 years and loved it. We gifted it to the new owners when we sold our house in June 2021. Ordered the newer version and it was easy to assemble. It works great and is easy to clean. Three things about the newer version I don't like are the size/shape and location of the hooks and the cheap, awkward propane bottle receptacle. First, there are only 3 hooks: Hang a spatula and a pair of tongs and you're out of hooks. This is awkward when two people share the grill. Their larger shaped hooks prevent me from using some of my favorite cooking utensils because the holes in the handles are too small. The older version had 6 hooks large enough to handle almost anything you could hang on them but they were small enough to accept most utensils. Secondly, on the older version they were mounted on the ends of the shelves where you do most of the food prep and they were away from the heat. The newer version is directly beneath the heat of the grill and for a tall person with long hair they are too low for convenience or comfort. Lastly, the propane bottle sits on the receptacle and has to be strapped into place to keep it from moving about. The older version snapped it into place and you could roll it anywhere on the deck and not give it a second thought. I really like the grill overall and I would buy another for a gift. But the older version was a better version for comfort, convenience and safety.

Just a Class Act
Moving can be a traumatic experience but it can also provide one with an opportunity to replace, upgrade, or in our case, downsize. Leaving our 2500 sq. ft. home for a 1300 sq. ft. apartment (think, much smaller balcony) required many "adjustments". Our 20-year-old Weber had served us well but we decided to get a more compact unit. After some research, we decided on the Q3200. We could not have made a better decision! Our review is all superlatives. We are very happy with the way steaks come off the grill, the small space it takes, and the overall quality of the product. It was not the cheapest BBQ out there but you get what you pay for. No regrets there either.

Q3200
I have owned one of these before. The one reason I no longer have it was we left it when we sold the house. It is perfectly compact but still perfect for backyard BBQ's. Loved it enough to buy it again, didn't even consider another grill.

Nice grill
We love this grill. Assembly was straight forward. It heats up quickly, and with the dual burners cooks amazingly. Looking forward to using this for years to come.

Great spacesaving grill w no sacrifice on function
Great grill. I love everything about this grill, except for one small thing. The plastic shield in front makes it more difficult to get to the propane tank in the back. However, that's probably a good thing because it shouldn't be shoved up against the wall anyway. It's light, compact, and well-designed. Cooks beautifully and evenly, even for an office griller like me. I like the app that comes with the grill, which has a timer, recipes, and timing suggestions.I do have a suggestion about the Weber cover fit this grill. You have to have both of the tables on the side of the grill in the upright position in order to use the cover properly. Since space-saving is one of the best features of this grill, it defeats the purpose. I ended up buying an off market cover so that I can use it with the tables in the down position. Other than that, there us not much to improve on.

Just Right!
I have wanted a Weber Grills for years just because I know the Weber name and its reputation. Its cute. Not to big but not to small either just perfect. I have used my grill several times and it definitely lived up to the expectation. I built the whole thing myself. It took me about an hour (I am a girl so I actually read the directions....LOL) Have not always been really good at grilling but this grill is allowing me to perfect my grilling skills and become a master chef.

Best BBQ
I had purchased a larger Weber Spirit and did not like the way the temperature fluctuated. I have had 2 Weber W's in the past and never disappointed. Has almost same grilling space as the larger grill, and keeps consistent temperature!

Is it possible to detach the grille from the stand to adapt it to a tabletop?

Hi Roscoe. The grill must be assembled onto the cart. Technically it is possible to disassembled and take off of the cart, but it is not designed to be used this way and it is not recommended.

Question:
What is the height in the Weber Q3200 grill from the floor to where the lid opens, please? I am putting the grill next to a rail and I want to know if the open lid can go over the rail. Thank you
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Vic, unfortunately the manufacturer does not provide this information but the height of the grill closed is 43.5 inches, with the lid open it is 55/5 inches high. The lid extends upward when open, not all the way back, so having a rail next to the grill shouldn't be an issue.

is it possibble to smoke on the Q3200?
Was This Helpful?

Hello. The Weber Q grills won't reach low enough temperatures to effectively smoke, but you can use an indirect flame to roast. If you're looking for a grill that can also function as a smoker, give us a call, and we'd be happy to help you find the one best for you!

When Will My Item Arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3–5 business days. If your item or order is large, it may ship via one of our third-party freight carriers, which deliver from semi trucks with lift gates. Freight delivery is much more complicated than standard parcel shipping — you must schedule a drop-off time, be present for the delivery, and move items from the curb to your residence, among other differences. Sound stressful? If you prepare in advance with our guide to freight delivery, it doesn’t have to be.

We strongly encourage reading the entire freight delivery guide, but here’s a quick snapshot of what you need to be ready for when you order a large package:

  • Your freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window of about 4–8 hours
  • You’re required to be physically present at the specified delivery location during the scheduled window
  • Freight shipments are carried in semi trucks, which have lift gates to assist with unloading
  • Freight deliveries are dropped off at the curb and no further — not up the driveway, not the porch, not the garage, and most definitely not the backyard — so it’s on you to transport packages to their intended location
  • For an easier time hauling items to your home or backyard, arrange for at least 2 helpers to be on standby during your delivery window
  • You must sign for the shipment to indicate that you’ve accepted the delivery

Again, we recommend reading our entire breakdown of freight delivery so you can become familiar with the process. Trust us when we say that getting caught off guard with the strict requirements of freight delivery can lead to a whole lot of headaches.

No Restocking Fee

Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.

Message to our customers: Like all retailers and manufacturers, we’re currently experiencing well-publicized supply-chain issues and steel shortages that have caused some orders to be delayed. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences arising from this situation, and we assure you we’re making every effort to solve these problems with our vendors and logistical partners.

So, why are some orders being affected? Major ports around the world are still operating at reduced capacity because of COVID-19 restrictions — on average, container boats sit at port for about 3 weeks before being unloaded. Combine these shipping inefficiencies with a scarcity of natural resources, and virtually every industry has been crippled to some degree. Yet we acknowledge that it’s our duty to meet these challenges head-on and work toward solutions so you can enjoy more time outdoors with the people you love. We appreciate your patience as we strive to smooth out our supply chain, and we thank you for choosing us for your grilling and outdoor living needs.
