Now a less-miniature but still very portable take on the classic Weber kettle, the Jumbo Joe charcoal BBQ grill lets you grill in style on the go, without sacrificing size! Perfect for picnics, camping or tailgating, the Jumbo Joe is made of premium-grade U. S. Steel. The bowl and lid of this portable Weber kettle grill are coated with a black porcelain enamel inside and out that is baked on, fusing the finish to the steel to prevent rusting and peeling through years of use. The adjustable, no-rust aluminum air vents provide proper airflow control for perfect grilling, helping you to control the temperature across the generous 17 1/2-inch diameter cooking area. The Jumbo Joe Tuck-N-Carry lid lock secures the lid in place for carrying and lowers to double as a lid holder while you grill. Weber Jumbo Joe grills also feature heavy-duty, plated steel cooking grates and a lid handle with heat shield for a comfortable, cool grip.

| I love my Jumbo JoeJumbo Joe is the perfect size for a small group, and is quite portable if you are camping or going to the beach. Works the same as the larger kettles, but with a smaller footprint. Joe holds his own to the bigger grills, and now that I have had 3 different sizes of Weber grills, I can't tell the difference in craftsmanship between Jumbo Joe, and its larger siblings. The only downside to this grill is that it is short. Being short is not a bad thing, considering all the upsides. The travel handle is multifunctional. It supports the lid when lid is removed, and of course it holds the grill lid on tightly for transportation. There are vents on the bottom and on the lid for perfecting your grilling skills. It travels well, and stores well, especially if you purchase the travel carrying cover with handles. By the way, the cover is sold as a set. | Perfect kettle for camper dutyThis is a replacement Jumbo Joe after I gave my old one to my brother to use in his camper. I tried to get my with a Smokey Joe Premium but it was too small and couldn't maintain proper temperatures with the lid on. The JJ is the best portable grill for camper duty. It stores easily in the camper and has the real Estate to cook complete meals. I have taken to using the ash catcher as a warming tray for baked potatoes once they are cooked. I wish it came with the grate that has the flip up ends to add coals.it is the only thing we cook our meals on for days/weeks at a time when camping. Essential equipment. | Was This Helpful? |
