I bought a weber traveler and used it twice. It never got hot enough. My friend had the same issue and said "Weber knows about this regulator issue and they will replace it for you." I called Weber and apparently they want to charge me $75 to fix a defective regulator issue that they knew about. I am out of warranty by a few months and I am out $450 because I will not use a product from Weber again.

I moved from a condo with a large ground patio to one with a smaller elevated deck. I decided my weber spirit was too large and lugging a large propane bottle onto the deck would be too much work, so I shopped around and decided on the traveler. It is perfect for my needs. I was concerned about having only one burner, but everything I have cooked on it (steaks, pork chops, pork loin, ham steak) has come out well (use an accurate meat thermometer).

Easy to collapse and set up if we choose to take it to the beach or a tailgate. Gets up to temperature fast, cooks evenly, and the tool hooks are a nice touch. Clean up with traditional tools is a bit more tedious due to the grate design, but a wet rag when the grill is hot seems to steam clean it quickly. I wish Weber would drop the wire brush tools and come out with a cleaning sponge set up. Much better, and no chance of wires getting left on the grill.

I've had this traveler grill for just a little over a year. In the few times I have used it. It never lights right. I might get half the burner to to light occasionally 3/4 of it lights. Followed instructions to reset regulator. It might help 1 in ten times. Its faster to fire up the charcoal in my kettle grill than screw with this one.

The blue Traveler works like other Weber BBQs--its excellent. On our recent camping trip to the Oregon coast in our Airstream trailer, the blue Traveler is also the best-looking portable BBQ made. Be sure to purchase the cargo cover with it to keep your vehicle clean.

The grill of my dreams - easy to move around, store, clean. And it uses the small convenient propane canisters. Sturdy heavy-duty grills, simple but functional burner, easy to reach & clean drip pan and interior. Only drawback with my unit is that the red tab that keeps it locked down & in place for storage will NOT self-release for easy opening. I have to reach over and adjust the tab to release it. But after that, it's a dream to set up and close down. Great if you have to store it inside for a hurricane emergency. (But only for use outside after the storm.)

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
