I was shopping for a pellet or Kamado grill and found the major differences were the Kamado grills are much better at searing and can cook a pizza well, but takes some knowledge and setup time before each cook. Pellet grills are very easy to set up/start up especially for long smokes, but do not sear as well. I decided that I don't mind (and actually kind of enjoy) starting the charcoal and dialing in the vents and wanted the added benefits of the Kamado. Since i didn't want to spend 2000+ on a grill I had to avoid the "name brands". After purchasing the grill I waited ~5 days for the grill to arrive via freight and discovered it was cracked badly (likely by the shipping company). I called BBQ guys support and after a 5 minute phone call they had placed another order for the same grill at no cost to me. This was seriously the best customer service experience I have ever had. Five days later my new grill arrived. I set up the grill yesterday and cooked on it for the first time and am very impressed. The temperature holding ability is so much better than the kettle grill I was used to and the kamado is so tightly sealed that my steak was rolling in smoke every time I opened the cover to inspect. I bought the starter kit with the grill, so i was able to drop my steaks down a level and sear them really well before moving them to the upper level over a heat deflector to finish them. They seriously came out better than any steak i had cooked on the kettle in 5 years of use! As far as the fit and finish of the grill, I was really impressed. It looks a lot better in person than in the pictures, the side shelves are thick, sturdy and look nice, the stand is strong with really smooth rolling castors, the included grill cover is very thick/durable feeling. I was expecting this to be of lower quality compared to a green egg, but everything about this grill fells and looks very high quality at a much a lower price. I strongly recommend this grill and this company.

I have owned a Green Egg for 5 years but the Victory 21 is better. Its larger and sturdier than my Egg. It took me about one hour to assemble - but half that time was unpacking!! Grilled steaks the next day- Great!! Buy one of these you wont regret It...

Great grill, easy to get started (I use an electric heat gun type starter) and easy to regulate the temperature. I also have a large Green Egg, this Victory Grill is as good as that grill. The rolling stand is great and the bamboo shelves are helpful. It was a breeze to assemble, they even include the wrenches that you need for the stand. The lid is easy to open and the fire box is large enough for a long smoke session. Excellent value.

Overall I would recommend this. It's very well made with only a couple minor issues. The side shelves are a bit finicky and there is no way to adjust the spring tension on the lid. Otherwise built like a tank and a great value over the big green and red brands. I was concerned that this was an unusual size and being a brand without a lot of accessories. I did find a two tier grill with heat deflector for a 22" kettle grill that fits and works well. Still getting used to working with a Kamado but this thing holds temperature like a dream.

I'm truly impressed with my Victory kamado, the Black on the silver profile gives this grill a ferocious look. My first grill experience with the kamado was a midsize brisket and, I was blown away by how well it held the perfect temp.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
