| This is a necessity for colder climatesIf you have a 34 inch Traeger and live in a place that it snows, you need one of these. The only problem is, you really need to remove it in the summer because it retains heat too well. I was getting flame outs. | Was This Helpful? |
| Be carefulI have an insulation blanket. I love the fact it helps keep consistent temperatures. However, it is so heavy that it caused the stop on the grill lid to spring past its stop point and allow the lid to bend. It never closed correctly after that. Traeger did replace the grill parts under warranty, but I'm so concerned it may happen again out of warranty that I have not used the insulation blanket since. It would be nice if Traeger could come up with a modification so I would feel comfortable using the blanket again...I miss it! | Was This Helpful? |
| Ruined the outside of the grillI bought this cover for my grill to help keeps consistent temperature through the winter in Michigan. After removing it I realized it had melted to the grill in many places and created burns all over the outside of the grill. Had to sand completely and repaint. | Was This Helpful? |
