Great fryer

Easy to assemble, easy to clean and easy to transport. I love how easy it is to keep the oil temperature at a cooking level.

I would buy this product again.

Works great. The only thing I wish it had was a proper cover. The small top only cover doesn't really protect it from the elements on the deck.

Would purchase again!

Could not have purchased a more durable fryer. Great for our family/neighbor fish fries. Worth the wait due to COVID shutdowns. Customer service was on spot with assistance.

Not a good value

For the price I would expect a better finish and higher quality workmanship fryer brand new out the box with blemishes and very poor paint quality, was full of metal shavings, and oil drain ball valve handle runs into exhaust so it will melt the handle and be to hit to touch very disappointing for the amount of money spent.

Question:
How heavy is this set up and how easy is it to take to different places? I like to bring my fryer to my friends house on the weekends.
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
You should be able to move the fryer pretty easily. Can transport in 2 pieces and has a drain so oil can be drained before transport.

Answer:
This is well built so is kind of heavy. We transport but drain oil and clean first because once it tipped over and made a mess. I would strongly recommend

Asked by RobAnswered by echristians

Answer:
Well it is easy to dis-assemble and assemble but it is a little heavy and you need to drive slow so the grease does not splash around to much.

Asked by RobAnswered by kentmarkus83

Answer:
Without oil and removing the fryer from the stand ..... 1 person can load it into a pick up.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

Answer:
Hi John, this is designed to fit on the left side only.

Question:
How do you control and maintain the temperature of the oil? Is there a thermostat dial?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Keith! There is a thermometer on the front of the fryer to show you the temperature you are at. You will regulate the temperature by using the needle valve, opening the valve to increase the temperature.

Asked by KeithAnswered by Tiffany, BBQGuys Expert

Question:
How long does it take to get up to cooking temperature? And does it come with a cover?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Brandon. The 4-gallon Cajun Fryer takes approximately 12-14 minutes to reach cooking temperatures when using liquid propane gas. Natural gas will take longer to heat the oil, environmental temperatures will also play a factor in heating times.

Asked by BrandonAnswered by Ryan

Question:
How long does the oil last in Cajun Fryer 4 Gallon Propane Gas Deep Fryer with Stand and 2 Baskets if left outside during the summer? How often should the frying oil be replaced?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Karsten. As long as your fryer is protected from the elements you could get several months of use, depending on how often you fry. Filtering your oil at least once a month will help keep the foods you fry tasting good as well. You'll know it's time to change your oil if it's become clouded, foams up or has a rancid taste/smell to it.

Asked by KarstenAnswered by Ryan

Question:
How do you clean this unit? Is there a drain or do you need to pour the oil out of the unit?
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi Mike, there is a drain to remove oil, the fryer can then be cleaned with water.

Asked by MikeAnswered by Rosa

Question:
What is the inside of this item is it stainless or coated
Was This Helpful?
Answer:
Hi, Wilma. The interior and exterior are made of 12-gauge carbon steel with a high temperature coating.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we’ve all come to expect for small parcels, so it’s important that you’re prepared and understand what’s required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We’ll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can’t be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we’ve only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don’t require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren’t required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you’re home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you’re out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
